HOW TO INSTALL
1) Extract "CoD4 MW - Return to Alpha (Demo)" folder from the archive anywhere, BUT NOT IN YOUR 'CALL OF DUTY 4' GAME DIRECTORY IF YOU HAVE IT.
2) Launch the "rtasp.exe"

No, it's not normal, I don't know how you get this problem because I with testers have not encountered this problem, even on a new game profiles.
I'm someone who always plays with a controller and not with a keyboard-mouse. It would be nice if you could add the controller option, like in the real alpha version on Xbox 360.
You can play CoD4 on controller using XInput, but I think you understand what effect you will achieve. Adding the native controller support request much time. If it works out, I will definitely write about it.
I never got xinput to work with COD4. If modders managed to make the controller compatible on IW4X MW2, then it should be possible for COD4.
IW4x and CoD4 very different game for adding the new stuffs and etc. Again, if I can add this feature then you see news about this.
