Description

Not much is different from the previous release. The most important feature is that the game is now stand-alone, so no previous installation of Carnivores Ice Age is necessary. Also, Liliensternus and Megalosaurus are more aggressive, and you can see the new Lotosaurus, Herrerasaurus and Postosuchus in person.

Not so bad. Working good. No instalation problems: just unzip. But it is bad what you using previous objects with new skin. Ererasaurus and Coelophisis looks good. And very nice idea to add a poacher. The game became more intresting with it!!! Postasuchus looks great for this game!

Good work!
I think, since beta 9 or 12 it became like the original game stage!!!
But it will be good to change Placerias object... It is just a Carnovores Moschops =( And Ice Age pigs =)

But Idea is good. You could make an Alivalia, like a biggest carnivore...

The Gallimimus, Moschops, Dimorphodon and Pig are just temporary placeholders. They will all be replaced with entirely new models. Lystrosaurus and Peteinosaurus' new models are entirely functional and will be available by the next Beta release. The new Coelophysis and Placerias would also, hopefully, be ready by then.

I've played a little bit more - locations are really intresting and atmospherical!!! Weapons are good balanced, but all animals are so FAST!!!
I think - too fast...

Regarding the animals speed- I agree, most of them are a bit too fast. Luckily, one of our team members is currently working on a patch that would enable us to change the animals speed manually.

Unzip archive into a folder of your choice, then run TRIASSIC.EXE to play. If you run into problems, setting the compatibility of TRIASSIC.EXE to Windows 98\Me should do the trick.

The game is well made, and I injoy it, but there are a few things that I would like to see fixed in future versions. The animals realy are a bit to fast, and the carnivores arn't really as agressive as I think they should be, even on high agressivness. Also the R.SP-10 doesn't quite work for me. I mean, I can't seem to hit anything with it. It might just be me but its pretty annoying. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the input. A lot of players have complained about aggression level and animal speed and we are indeed working on fixing that. As for the Remington, it works fine for me. Just keep practicing- certain weapons are better for hunting certain animals, keep playing with it and see what works best for you.

Just killed a Megalosaur today, the game is fantastic. the MP4 is really lame tho i will have to say :( either I suck or the bullet damage is really weak compared to the amount of bullets your allowed to carry, its really unbalanced. I unloaded 2 full clips into a postasuchus and i still managed to die. other than that 1 single complaint, I consider this mod absolutely to be a true 4th edition to the series. Cant wait to see more dinos; ambient or pointable! the maps were mind blowing XD keep up the good work
