The very first public alpha of Burning Empires, (For Bannerlord version 1.8.0)
Welcome to the Alpha release of Burning Empires!
This build is updated for 1.8.0 patch for Bannerlord.
The mod completely replaces the Empire factions with 4th century Romans, and the Battanians are replaced with Germanic tribes.
The new factions have their own troop tree, each unit equipped in custom made gear from the hundreds of new items added to the game.
All scenes belonging to these two cultures have been replaced by a variety of custom scenes, (Except for Roman Cities) There's also a custom arabian village scene, tossed in for good measure.
Please understand that this is not the final product and aimed to showcase our progress, and hopefully provide a fun experience for those itching to slay some barbarians as the later Roman Empire (or vice versa)!

Important to note, that if your game seems to be frozen at the start, don't panic, just wait a few minutes for the assets to load in!

it will collapse when entering the battle,can you update the patch to make mod more stable
At the start of the first battle, the game might need a lot of time to load all the assets in, please be patient and the next time it will load instantly.
it's not that the loading is slow,but that there will be a crash during the loading process,causing the game to flash back.

It looks pretty gorgeous, have to admit. We can see that you really put in the effort. All the troops and armour sets look absolutely amazing and much better than the base game ones. Will play it for sure. The only thing that I was expecting but did not find is the Europe map. Seems that is yet to be implemented, but that`s ok.

The map of the Roman world is in the works. It's a good ways down the road, but it will come.

Does anyone have pointers for downloading and installing correctly? I always had problems doing manual downloads.
you can try opening the network accelerator to download and decompress the file to modules

Love your mod! Great job. Playing the Romans is always fun.
Initially was crashing quite a bit. Got rid of the Realistic Battle Mod and that seemed to make a big difference. Still have the rare crash, but only when joining an army and entering a battle. Otherwise, no problems.
<Update> Crashes when entering battles becoming annoying. Mostly happens when I am leading an army or in an army. Not so much when I am alone, but still occurs occasionally. No crashes otherwise. Just when starting battles. Nor am I using a lot of mods. Just one: More Loot.
go to the godamn discord, there are hottfixes there that should completly eliminate your crashes, they are tested and proven.
I've played for 6 hours straight and had not a single crash.
Is there a patch to fix the crash? I can't find it there. Can you send it if you have any trouble? Thank you very much

will this get a update to run on the released version of bannerlord?
Could someone explain, give a link to a tutorial on how to install this mod?
