This is Patch 1 for the public beta
Install to "Mods" Location. Determine mods location via Sins > settings > mods > show mod path
Copy the entire contents of this .zip, extracted, to that folder. Enable mod.
Please post your version of entrenchment, and a full description of any errors if they occur when reporting problems!
Game Play Changes
- Removed Infection research
- Added Charon Class Frigate Passive: .25% MAC damage increase for nearby ships, 25% max
- Added Berlin Class Frigate Passive: 1% stacking bombardment cool-down for nearby ships, 20% max
- Increased Eion Carrier slot count from 12 to 15
- decreased UNSC Bomber squad size from 5 to 3
- decreased UNSC Fighter squad size from 6 to 4
- decreased EXP gains from killing Flood Spores.
- Increased Super Carrier Research from 800,150,100 to 1000, 2000, 500
- Reworked Anchor Station
- Removed shielding from Anchor station hull upgrades.
- Added Repair passive ability to Anchor Station,
- Removed Anchor weapon upgrades,
- decreased ship manufacturing to 50% level 1 and 100% level 2
- Reworked abilities for UNSC Valiant Class Capital ship
- Removed missile barrage and Last Stand
- Added Designate Target: % amplified damage to a target, only available after research
- Added Ultimate ability "Evasive Formation" Which allows the fleet a % Chance to dodge. Currently at 15-20-25%.
- Designate Target Research no longer requires Eion Class light carrier research as a prerequisite. (still required for Valiant ability)
- Removed Sabotage Engines (AKA Demobots) research and ability
- Removed the Novalith Cannon from being build-able by the UNSC
- Removed Sabotage Reactor ability and research from Charon-class frigate.Cosmetics/Bug Fixes
- Fixed Starbase constructor bug. The constructor will now require its proper research in order to be built.
- Fixed missing string error in Sabre interceptor squad description.
- Fixed bug with Marathon Design research button bug where hovering over the icon would display the wrong icon.
- Added new start up video
- Removed particle effect from Thanatos-class destroyer's Advanced AI ability.
- Removed vanilla phase jump particle effects.
- Renamed PSIDAR to SADAR (Slipspace Anomaly Detection and Ranging).
- Replaced all instances of phase with slipspace, except for phase missiles and phase lanes.
- Changed Raloz Constructor strings to Hephaestus Automated Construction UnitAudio
- Added custom game over dialog strings for UNSC, Covenant, and Forerunners.
- Added SFX for MAC (placeholder) and Archer Missile fire triggers
- Added updated VO's for Covenant Neutrals
- Beefed up Slipspace Exit SFX
- Removed minor clipping in main menu track when the song ends
- Replaced USNC Battle 2 with standard Battle Track

Remind me: why did Anchor stations become squishy and defenseless?
How much good do you think an Anchor Station is going to be against an Assault Carrier?
So I have two questions. Sorry for bringing it anywhere else (spur of the moment type thing). Do the hanger defences (autocannons) actually work now and do they target strike craft, also does the Anchor station starbase target strike craft as well now?
Its also prep for the Gamma Station, a much better starbase.
Hey, was having trouble getting the mod to install on the steam version of Entrenchment. The icon in the corner displays v1.05, if this requires v1.055 then is there a link where I can follow to enforce this update?

You're not playing Entrenchment then. You're playing Trinity, you need to open Entrenchment, which is part of Trinity.
so i got this patch and the beta release but how do i install this patch over the beta so things are fixed up because the patch it self keeps making the game crash, 1.5.5, entrenchment

I have 1.055 entrenchment, have extracted the zip, have deactivated the original beta, and activated the patch, and instead of the beta it goes with normal entrenchment. did i miss something?
please oh please, make a user account, and not post as a guest please, it will make it much simpler to find out what the problem is, as well as give you the ability to get fast support. as for the original beta.... i hope you deleted that file, the patch is not a patch persay, its more of a full updated version of the mod, and now i think about it make sure you dont have the SOTP mod located in itself, like this--> ~Mods-Entrenchment \v1.055SOTP_UNSC_BETA_PATCH1\ v1.055SOTP_UNSC_BETA_PATCH1 (ps there should be now spaces after the \)

I really love what you all are doing here. I have been wanting a game like this since I first saw the Pillar of Autumn all the years ago in 2001. I actually bought this game after looking through the screenshots and vids. I love the Mod and the full game very much. Also, if you guys need any help in any way, let me know, I would be happy to assist.

Hey guys, don't you think you put a little too much power in those proximity mines? Way too powerful when I show up with a gigantic fleet and I lose 2/3's of my fleet.

If you micromanaged your fleet, mines would be quite useless... assuming you realize that you can force your fleet to jump into the outskirts of the system (edit: btw, i didnt scroll down far enough to see your "ignore this comment"... my bad
For some reason this mod wont work. Everytime I try to enable the mod it crashes the game with an error of BEX. Can someone help me I cant figure it out.

trinity? i hope you meant entrenchment, as the mod hasnt touched any of the stuff diplomacy adds, which if your using the steam version of sins, then thats what laumching trinity launches
