To turn the cinematic back on open the BCBuff.cfg file with a notepad editor and turn movies = 1.
I can't recreate it on mine or another player's sessions.
Could you give me more information, please? What does the error log say? What are you doing when the crash happens?
Have you run the "Large Address Aware.exe" or "4gb_patch.exe" on medieval2.exe & kingdoms.exe before you run the game?
Also, set the "unit_detail = low" under the [video] portion in medieval2.preference.cfg to reduce the memory needed to avoid crash.
I do not encounter any crash when play Khwarezm faction with above setting.
Unable to find the related settlements name in "Domination: Voctory Condition" when play Armenia, as the settlement name in the map is not display in English.
If you are having issues with crashing arguably the best solution to this problem will be downloading the 4gb patch Ntcore.com
and running it on the medieval2.exe & kingdoms.exe as this will let your mtw2 run with more memory.
This is a full release so when installing remove previous Buff and Shine Install.

I'll post BCBuff 2.4 which will include Victory condition maps in the menu button which will help address the issue.
