Not too bad, but when blowing up the wooden barrels tho, I can see a flickering of the original green ones. Also a request maybe? A level or two where there is gun toting ladies? That would be cool.Good luck on this! :)
Is this the original ios version called Bastards by Octavian Stirbei? Facebook.com
I'm pretty sure it was made for freedoom which is why the barrels show up.
Also, I was the one who originally ported it to windows... although that was unauthorized/unapproved but it was done after it was taken down.
Friends, the town of "DeadWood" is now featured in "OLD-Future: Post-Apocalyptic Times", if you enjoyed this game you might like this other too. Store.steampowered.com
Cheers!
I'm sorry, but this is a mess despite the interesting concept.
The combat is just plain unfun because nearly every weapon is just a WORSE version of a standard doom weapon. Mainly because they've all had their firing rate decreased so much the normal shotgun feels like the super shotgun and the super shotgun is near unusable from a several second reload.
It would be borderline broken having weapons so clunky on maps with this many enemies if you hadn't tried to compensate by turning their damage output down to nearly nothing
Some serious balancing and tweaking needs to go into this
after download, i renamed prdoom.wad into bastardos.wad, launch it in zdl on gzdoom 4.7.1 with doom2.wad, how was it ? well, barrels during exposion transition for a second into doom barrel, chaingun guy sprite when hit switch into sprite like he was lying on the ground on every hit, -- but overall there are some pretty nice sprites and nice atmosphere. a little bit rough on the edges but worth the try.

Hi grouchbag,
There are some bugs to be fixed and yes ladies are missing.
We'll make sure they will not miss in episode 2.
Thank you! Even if you can't get a lady in there, that's ok. Ep 2 will be as good as this anyway. :D
Is there no way to have SFX without music ? if the music is turned down there is no sound atall
Hi determity,
In a few more hours we'll be releasing the original soundtrack for the game composed by Jeff Warner.
