The original aim of SOF2MP: BARD was to add an integrated realistic damage mode to the standard SOF2 multiplayer, as well as bots, whilst making minimal changes to the code. As BARD has progressed, the mod has slowly been jam-packed with great features, weapons, extra gore, and new gametypes to spice up SOF2 - all without sacrificing the original gameplay. Server administrators have the option to turn on or off at least 95% of BARD's features - so they are always in control of how the game plays.
