Full version of Alien Armageddon 4.34. This is a modification of Duke Nukem 3D and you do need to have the game data from Duke Nukem 3D Atomic Edition or later to play.

As with any mouse and keyboard shooter, you should configure the mouse and keyboard to your liking. Alien Armageddon uses four functions different from regular Duke 3D
ALT FIRE
RELOAD WEAPON
SWAP CHARACTERS
ALTERNATE WEAPON
PORTABLE VENDOR
You should assign each of those to suitable keys or buttons from the setup menu before starting a game. SWAP CHARACTERS will switch control of the playable character, if the other character is available. ALT FIRE will activate the secondary function of the weapon currently selected, if the weapon has a secondary function (for example, reload weapon or use scope). RELOAD WEAPON will reload the weapon, if applicable. ALTERNATIVE WEAPON will switch to a subweapon on the same weapon slot, if one is available (for example, it will switch between shrinker and expander). Additionally, on Bombshell's SMG, it will cause the weapon to reload. You can also access subweapons by using the next/previous weapon keys. The PORTABLE VENDOR key will bring up a menu in which you can purchase upgrades and change costumes.
A note about the "censoredtiles" folder. This folder contains alternative versions of the .ART files with less explicit sexual content. If you are a streamer who serves a general audience, or just a player who wants less sexual content in the game, replace the .ART tiles at the root with the ones in the censoredtiles folder. Don't forget to make a backup of the originals if you want them later!
Troubleshooting:
If you own Duke Nukem 3D but Alien Armageddon will not start, it may be that you didn’t put a copy of your DUKE3D.GRP data file in the game folder. If you open the file ‘eduke32.log’ after a failed run, scroll down and find an error that says “No palette loaded”, then that is most likely the cause. In any case, make sure that you have the file DUKE3D.GRP and place a copy of it within the alien_armageddon folder where the executable resides.

Yes, it is now possible to do that after some updates that I made after the initial download was posted. You need to go in the scripts folder, open up the file AAUSER.CON in a text editor, and near the top of the file change it from "gamevar MONHUD YES 0" to "gamevar MONHUD NO 0"
Awesome Mod!! That worked to fix the bar and name. Can you also turn off the damage that pops up off the enemies heads?
That's not damage, that's the amount of XP you get from killing them. The only way to disable that is to turn off the progression system, which you can do for all episodes except for the Attrition campaign. It's the very next setting in the same file.
Thanks so much for the epic mod and the quick response! By far one of the best mods I've ever played good sir, thanks so much just had leg surgery and was in the need of something great to play and this defiantly does that!

The name of the source port is eduke32, but actually the included exe is 64 bit.

so, i tried out this newest update a little bit. looking nice so far, but i have found 1 issue for the time being. if you disable voxels, the pigcop tank when destroyed. just becomes a black square. and also, is it possible to disable autosaving? cause i don't like when it autosaves my game
Don't disable voxels, they are integral to the game.
I can add an option to disable auto-saving, but that option doesn't exist yet.
well why is there an option to have voxels to turn on or off in the game then? or is that an EDuke32 thing
and a disable auto-saving option would be nice. cause to be honest, i don't like when my game autosaves
I can't control the options present in the eduke32 menu. You can definitely break the game with those. I will add an option to disable autosave in the future.

I just started the game and so many more things than the 3.0 amazing ! the unique trouble for me it's I have a message putting "press backspace to upgrade" I press it but nothing, anyone can help me ? thanks
Trying adding the latest patch. Someone else had a similar issue.
Go into the eduke32 keyboard setup menu and re-assign the portable vendor key to a different key, then it should work.

Man, i was wanted to play this mod but now, after trying it, i have only one question: Why the hell it stutters like crazy in OpenGL mode??? I mean, i'm playing Doom in OpenGL mode and it works fine, but when i launch this Duke Nukem mod in OpenGL mode, it starting to stutter like crazy! Sure, i can play in classic render mode, but it makes me dizzy to even look at this game in that mode. Also yes, i played others mods on eduke32 sourceport for Duke Nukem 3D, like HRP mod with 3D models and stuff and it worked fine. Sure, i have old PC but why, when other mods works fine, this one doesn't?
This TC has a huge amount of detailed art for the new enemies etc. If you have an older PC it is probably putting a lot of strain on your gpu. Possibly we could provide some technical support if you come by our discord server.

How do I replenish the rescue spray?
It can drop from eggs when you destroy them. More likely to drop if they have not hatched yet.

Im using Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit. This eduke32 only works with 64-bit OS?
The included exe is 64-bit, but there is a 32-bit one. Go to this link and download the 32-bit package:

When you use that exe, make sure that you do NOT use the Polymer renderer -- leave that checkbox off or it will break the game. Otherwise that one should work fine.

You need a very recent version of eduke32; that is why I linked it above. Then just unzip the mod folder and add your DUKE3D.GRP file to that folder and run the exe.
Just discovered this mod, love it. Noticed a couple bugs so far:
1. End of level stats screen starts playing the title music over the level stats music after a sec or so
2. End of Lunar Apocalypse after defeating Overlord cutscene level stats screen shows Ice Station Colossus with Duke and Bombshell in their Space Gladiators outfits
Also, not a bugs but:
1. There are no rescue refills (no eggs either to get it from) in LA Meltdown, so no rescuing any babes beyond what rescue spray you start with :(
2. Are there any weapon upgrades to pick up hidden in the original episodes? I've only found one pistol upgrade for each character in Lunar Apocalypse so far.
3. I see voxel switches are disabled, is this intentional? And if so, why were they disabled? (NVM, I tried enabling them, now I see why lol)
4. Enemies spawn coins in PROGRESSION NO mode, but there's no Portable Vendor?
There are a few other things I'd like to ask / suggest, but I'm waiting for an admin to approve my account at duke4.net so I can post on your Alien Armageddon thread.
Anyway, if I find any more bugs, I'll let you know either way. ;-)
Thanks. I can answer a few of your questions. The rest Deeperthought can address:
1. Rescue spray can be acquired from killing eggs (unhatched has a higher chance) but it's a low probability over all.
2. I hid a few weapon upgrades here and there in secret areas in vanilla episodes but not many. Also if you already upgraded the weapon, the pickup will turn into money.
3. Yeah keep voxels on. It will do weird things without it.
Also our discord is much more active than the board at duke4.net. You'll like get answers faster there.
1 & 2 ) Known issues with no fix at this time. 2 might not be fixable as was explained in the discord.
not bugs:
1) they drop from eggs
2) a few
3) they cause lots of issues so they were disabled; I can explain in detail on discord server
4) that toggle is a WIP, an update is coming soon to address various issues
Alt fire doesn't seem to function,I tried binding it to different keys and nothing still.
It is bound to right-mouse by default and it works. Not all weapons use it but most do. Make sure you are not binding alt-weapon by mistake, because that is different from alt-fire. Come to our discord if you still need help.
I put it back to the default but when I try to use the explosive shotgun shells it doesn't switch same for charging alien pistol.
What about altfire on other weapons such a reloading the pistol, toggling scope on Bombshell's SMG, changing rocket types on her RL, toggling pipebomb mode for Duke, etc.? Trying to determine whether it is completely broken for you or whether it is broken only on some weapons.

1) Its automatic in Attrition mode, no button presses.

Really quick question, of the 200 maps for War of Attrition, is Duke Nukem Forever 2013 one of them? If so, that's awesome and could be the Duke Nukem Forever we should have gotten (outside of Manhattan Project).

Rescue spray is a bad idea, especially in levels without eggs... What's the console command to spawn some?
And one more question. Kicking and crouching dashes and slides are extremely annoying and sometimes getting me behind targets or falling into pits, can it be optional or disabled?
Also, what's the point of bow anyway? Most maps have jetpack, base damage are lower than any other weapons, like bomb or x3 upgrade costs 3 shotgun shells and deal somewhere around 50 damage while double pistol blast or regular shotgun blast had ~85 and it's much faster.

Hey, I have noticed that the Status always changes to 75%, this is because it uses the same function for all the other messages (like how much money you pick up)
I am rather fine with this but...Could you also at least move the status screen somewhere else, too? Just a bit up, so it doesn't overlap with the health.
