This is final version, it doesn't need to install previous ones.
Next release is coming on the Rome Remastered engine.
Main changes (compared wth 2.0 version).
- Number of ideologies is 5 now. "Fascism" is divided to "Nationalism" and "Nazism". This prevents Reich's AI from early swallowing of its minor European satellites.
- Game balance improved. USSR is stronger, Japan weaker, Reich and its satellites stay allied at least until Autumn 1943.
- 2nd level of walls fixed, now you attack them in the same way as other walls, not vanilla way.
- Planes' movement got back, they fly like in the earliest 1942 versions.
- Fatal CTDs at AI trns are solved.
IMPORTANT:
1) You may face CTD when you start a new campaign (the strategical map appears, then the game stops). In that case do the next:
- Run the game again and load the save "BestTest1945" (without campaign starting).
- Quit the game.
- Run the game again and start your campaign.
If you face AI turn CTD:
-Just load your save and continue campaign. CTD is rare and not fatal.
INSTALLATION:
Unpack the archive to your Rome main folder and run the mod by TotalWar - 1942.exe

Hello There, i have download the full final Version file, extracted it into my Rome total war Gold Folder and tried to run the Exe according to your READ Me instructions but when i try to run it either appears a Small Window With the Red error dot saying "missing MSS32.dll" or a exception in the cmd saying couldn't find file Can you please help i really would like to play the last version...
Don't use Rome Gold Edition, this works the best with Steam or the old CD.

Hello,
I was wondering if there's a way to send your army from one side of the map to the other (as if the world is round, not flat)?
Also, I have edited a lot of the artwork, loading screens, etc for my personal use (since this is my favorite mod, thought I would customize it to my taste). How would I go about releasing it as a sub-mod? If that is even allowed??

Installation Process for 1942 Final. Extract the mod to your Rome total war folder then Open the Total_War_1942_final folder then copy the Total war 1942 application launcher and 1942 folder then paste it outside the Total_War_1942_final folder after that go back to Total_War_1942_final folder then copy the Opening_Movie_Swapper_1942_Total_War windows batch file and paste it to the 1942 folder, outside. Then double click the Opening_Movie_Swapper_1942_Total_War after that double click the Total war 1942 application and play. Sorry if my English's is bad.
