The main character Thread - Silverate DEVs

Here isn't the final description of the character. I made it just to get a vision of how I like him to be. Anyone can go and make changes. I would love to see any new ideas added.

Im generaly against winx like transformation. Maybe make them stronger men in general. No tranformasion and clothing changing. It would add to the realism. Ever watched the "Seventh son" movie? Thats how i would imagine him when it comes to the supernatural stenght and powers part. Also i think 16 is too old. In medieval ages that would be a boy. Even today you are not considered anything close to mature at 16. Im not counting the shit we see in movies and TV shows with teens being all like "im grown up now, i smoke,f*ck, drink and stay out till dawn". Silverate order should be a strict, disciplined order similar to the Spartiats in ancient Sparta. This would be more like an anime with a kid as a main protagonist and him growing up. As i understood the country is a mighty empire, and empires are not built by teenagers.

Also the name Luke. Wont people connect him with Skywalker? It seems like clishe to me (i think i misspelled it).

This is only my opinion and im open for compromises and i will agree to what the majority of the team members say. Also exuse me for using bad language a few times.

Really thankful you showed suggestions. I agree with that transformation and age sector, will absolutely change that but the name, I need more suggestions. Its not that Skywalker is bad, but I need to know everyone's opinion.

haha. I love suggestions. It makes the game more unique and interesting. Its better to have more inspirational ideas other just some fixed views on subjects.

I watched the Seventh Son trailer. That really proves to be awesome. We can have a great influence from that. I saw many prospects which seemed similar to the ideas we are going to have in this game.

I chose the name Luke because it's my middle name and I use it when planning because it's my default thing for naming people. I really don't think it should be Luke, I just chose that because I couldn't think of a better name at that exact second so I'm open to names that aren't my middle name.

As for the anime, well, dark and I originally got together because we wanted to make a Naruto game, and I still want to make something sorta like that but whatever.

I looked at the main character description, and it seems pretty good. It reminds me a lot of, well, Naruto, in that he was seen as a monster and blahblahblah. Also, it ties into the main story ideas I had.

It should be noted that my inspiration for the main story was the Star Wars prequel trilogy- or rather, how I wish that had gone. Essentially, I am thinking of an old, decaying institution that is separate from society as a whole and exists as some magic police or something, and a follower of that order who eventually turns against it, possibly to become evil or just turn to "The dark side" or whatnot.

I feel as if all members of the Silvrate Order should be viewed as separate from society, taken from a young age and raised in servitude to the crown. Again, like the Jedi in the prequels, so you can see what I'm taking inspiration from. "Luke" (or whoever we end up calling him) having been from a country that treated people with Silvrate blood as monsters and slaves/ purged/ whatever and then being kidnapped by the Silvrate Order when he was older than most members of the Silvrate Order (who were born in Medonia) would give him a different view of the world. Again, like anakin in the prequels, since he was born as a slave and grew up older, but it's not like I'm completely ripping off star wars :/

So basically, "Luke" was born in a different country that didn't like magic users, he kept his powers hidden and when they were revealed his parents tried to kill him, he ran away and lived in hiding until he was found by a Silvrate Order member of Medonia, who took him to join the Order (at an older age). People in Medonia don't particularly like Magic users, but they are bound to the crown there so yeah.

So there we finally have fixed all about our main character. Just remaining is the name. We will come up with one too.
