Planar Studios has worked under a couple of other names in the past with probably the most notable one being Team Fire Games. Despite the name changes the crew has practically always been the same developer-duo: Artturi Juvonen and Taneli Vatanen. The development of our projects is pretty much always split so that Artturi does most of the graphics while Taneli writes the code and both collaborate on the designs. With years of experience from games and developing them and regardless of the low amount of finished products Planar Studios has been on display for a couple of times in the Finnish technology magazine MikroBitti and their website.

Planar Studios has always been developing various kinds of game projects dating back all the way to the time the devs used to be little brats. Back then the thoughts of actually making games weren't too serious but when the two devs came across with the right piece of software the thoughts were about to get concrete. It was not really anything like romantic daydreams coming true. At the beginning of the 21st century the 9-10-year-old little boys took their place in the Finnish independent game developer community.

A lot of projects have come and gone, almost every one of them left unfinished. To make use of a corny expression: making games has been a journey with the trip being more important than the goal. Getting projects done is obviously on the to-do list as well.
