What's in a name?

The name "Eden Industries" highlights our mission and philosophy. The 'Eden' part of the name comes from the Biblical Garden of Eden, which was the pinnacle of beauty and perfection. However soon after it was created, the Garden of Eden was corrupted and everything went downhill from there.

We relate this to gaming in our belief that central to the experience of gaming is immediate accessability and immediate fun. That was how games really got started. But somewhere along the way they became muddled and complicated; this pushed people away and sparked disinterest in gaming. After all, who really likes sitting down to play a game and having to slog through 30 minutes of tutorials and cut-scenes? So our mission is to reach back to the time when games were fun for everyone who sat down to play them. Although we're not saying our games our perfect, our goal is to strive towards that goal and recreate a gaming paradise - a gaming "Garden of Eden" if you will.

The 'Industries' part of the name invokes a sense of modernization, industry, and ingenuity. Although it's our belief that gaming has gone a bit off track, we recognize that there have been a lot of great advancements and ideas over the years. Our goal is to incorporate these concepts into our games in order to infuse our core of fun with full-featured, polished experiences that people have come to enjoy and expect.
