The Ascaron Entertainment GmbH belongs to the pioneers in developing computer games. Ascaron is one of the leading computer game developers in Germany and with titles like Sacred 1+2, Patrizier, Anstoß, Vermeer and Port Royale since more than ten years on the first ranks of the sales charts. Besides its main offices in Gütersloh, Ascaron maintains an studio in Aachen and an foreign office in Birmingham. Ascaron games are being sold in more than 30 countries now. The complete volume of sold units, including licenses, largely exceeded one million in 2004 already.
