UI for the GAMMA mod of Anomaly.
All the assets used were from the smash hit PC game: "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl" and were used to reimagine the default GAMMA interface. Each texture was painstakingly cut apart and blended together. I am pleased with how it came out.
This will change the Body Health HUD, Trade, Dialog, Workbench and Repair menus with something more gritty that is heavily accented by rusty metal and sharp edges. Please wear gloves, eye protection, and make sure you are up to date on your shots.
Version .92 Released 02/01/2024
Version .92 HF1 later that day to remove an errant texture in the character UI.
Most of the game windows and UI assets have been changed to a similar look and feel. However, this is not a finished project. I still have some more basic work to do and general cleanup of anything that seems even 1 pixel out of place.
Planned upcoming changes:
Ammo selection triangle
Body Health system
How I recommend installing:
Use the Mod Organizer to install.
How I recommend uninstalling:
Use the Mod Organizer and right click to remove the mod.

GAMMA modders: ALL OF THEM
Microsoft: I used the gear icon from your file system.
GSC: You deserve credit even if you have continually let me down.
Warning and Caveat:
I don't know if this will work with any other HUD/UI interface OR the base Anomaly game. It is specifically designed to work with a "Default" GAMMA installation v.9.1 at 1080p resolution. It will also work with a .9 installation of GAMMA. Text may seem oddly positioned at higher resolutions, but otherwise this UI will still work.

Previous version info for posterity:
Version: .01
I created this because I didn't like the slick UI that came default. It felt out-of-place within this game world. I wanted something that was gritty, dirty and asymmetrical. I wanted it to feel like a part of the game world, as if it was built using random bits of metal found locally. Thankfully the Shadow Of Chernobyl game came with lots of textures that obviously fit the world well, and I used them extensively cutting, pasting, scaling, blending and adding shadows when needed. I have really enjoyed putting this together. It was done first and foremost for me, but I felt it was at a point where I could share it with others. I look forward to hearing what anyone who tries this thinks of it.
*There will be future-updates to include some of the missed button assets as well as the less-seen UI screens. These are currently being worked through at my leisure.
Looks amazing. Good job!
10/10
Why the bad votes? The guy obviously liked the look and made it, don't like it then don't use it. If he likes it other people are bound to.
Votes, either up or down are basically irrelevant to me. It's selfish to think that I made this just for my enjoyment, but it is really that simple. I am glad that there is a place on the internet where I could share it with others. And should someone else out there enjoy it also, that makes me even more glad. You can't please everyone, and I don't try to.

Thank you. Looks just like the Shadow of Chernobyl UI, exactly what I was looking for. Excellent :)
I had 1 problem using this without Gamma. The hunger thirst sleep bars only show hunger, the other two were empty. I installed HUNGER, THIRST, SLEEPINESS BARS 1.01 Moddb.com just before this Addon in Mod Organizer and it works fine.
Very nice! Reminds me a lot of Dead Air and Misery, looks pretty similar to old dog hud which is one of my two favorites, the second being this!
Soul versus soulless.
This is sick
Thank you. This is well made!
Looks like only 'Hunger, Thirst and Sleepiness Bars 1.01' is needed.
Will be a permanent mod on my list :-)
will you make a version for Simplified Vision UI?
I would love a gritty/stalker themed version of the hud

how i can to fix that?
I honestly couldn't begin to guess what is causing that error for you. Outside of basic guesses like using DX11 vs other APIs or other potentially conflicting mods, I am at a loss.
