This microaddon marks every dynamic anomaly area (created by Dynamic Anomalies Overhaul or Arrival Anomalies addons) on your PDA map, making it easier to remember where they are.
Only marks the area as a whole, not the precise location of each individual anomaly in that area.
Only marks the areas that can spawn artefacts (which is the true purpose of this addon: to
remind you that there may be artefacts in these areas, just as in normal anomaly fields).
The areas are marked whether they currently have any anomalies or not.
Marks are only placed once you approach the area (just like with normal anomaly fields).
No experience is given for discovering these areas, and they are not counted toward any achievements.
Works with 1.5.2, probably works with 1.5.1 (didn't check).
HOW TO INSTALL
Install the zip file downloaded from ModDB with ModOrganizer2.
Requires "Dynamic Anomalies Overhaul" or "Arrival Anomalies" (which is derived from DAO) to be installed.
Installation order does not matter.

If I remember to reply to this message, I'll give my experience with trying it out on 1.5.1 (using the Desolation engine mod, which is still using 1.5.1 and hasn't been updated to 1.5.2). If I respond to this message, picture something going wrong (compatibility wise); if I don't respond, things either went alright, or I did forget and might've also had compatibility issues.
It does work in 1.5.1; that said, I don't like the whole long "anomaly zone: _" name, like I know the zone's an anomaly zone, but some zones have like a short sentence for its zone name of like 15+ characters both in the discovery popup and pda name.
like the dead city admin building anomaly zone name doesn't really need "anomaly zone" in its name as a prefix just call it "anomalous admin building" (or something to that effect).
The addon uses smart point descriptions that are already in the game. I didn't make them. The only thing I can do is to not to add the "Anomaly:" prefix, but that seems like a step too far.

Thanks for the cool addon! Will it work with Arrival Anomalies? As far as I understand, it is based on the DAO.
Yes, it's compatible. Arrival uses the same region files that DAO has, with some minor changes. SMFDAO reads these files to place the markers, it doesn't care which addon these files are coming from.
