Replaces old boring scopes with fresh, simplified, inspired by the original series of Stalker games.
Description
In Anomaly 2d, the texture of the scopes tries to look like a 3d object, it always looked too cheap and fake for me, and I decided to do something more immersive. I was inspired by the original Stalker game series, where the scope is a simplified circular area in the center of the screen.
The addon replaces absolutely all scopes in the game, including binoculars, with new ones created from scratch. Optionally, collimator sights and the appearance of 3d scopes models are improved (more details below in the demonstration section).
There are two versions of the addon available in total, the "classic" with a dark background and the "transparent".

Warning
This addon is not yet compatible with BaS (Patch coming soon) and other mods that add new guns and scopes, only with vanilla weapons!!! BUT this does not apply to mods that change position and other characteristics of weapons.
You also need a modified exe so that it supports DLTX.
Installation
- install Shader Based 2D Scopes first.
- Install all weapons mods for example Position and View v2.1 by ЦЕМЕНТ.
- Unpack the archive.
- Open the main file or optional files until you find the gamedata folder.
- Move this to the root folder of the game, where it is located AnomalyLauncher.exe

Darkened scopes lenses
Makes lenses of some 3d scopes not transparent, making their appearance more realistic since you will not see through the scope at an indirect angle.
Does not affect convenience of aiming as the mod replaces it with 2d reticles.
I already did a similar mod a couple of days ago, but since then it published, I have changed my opinion about the quality of the result. This version is a complete rework, so I did not update the old mod, you can still download the old version Moddb.com, in the future I will remove it.

Something still simple, with a good overview. For an amateur, I have always avoided such an option in mods for scopes, from other authors, but decided to do it because it is easy to create.
-Added support for the AUGmented mod.
No patches are needed, it is already in the main file.
-Added support for monitors with an aspect ratio of 21:9.
This worked before, but there were transparent stripes on the sides instead of a black background for the classic version of the mod. Shader Based 2D Scopes is highly recommended.
-Improved settings for Shader Based 2D Scopes.
I recommend reinstalling this patch if you have already installed my mod.

Compared to the old version of the mod, I tried to achieve maximum realism and ease of aiming.
-Reduced blurring of the scope boundaries.
-Removed the dirty glass effect.
-The "Shader Based 2D Scopes" parameters are configured.
If you want to customize them for yourself, use the "scopeSettings.script" file, or type the values into the console, but first delete this file, since it updates the values entered in it every time the game starts.
-Added the option "darkened scopes lenses".

Do you mean why Shader Based 2D Scope doesn't work on 8dx? Write this not to me, but to the author of the mod. But if you don't need shaders, and you have a purple square instead of a scope, write "r__fakescope 0" to the console. By the way, everything works fine on dx10.

Скачай новую версию моего мода (обновил вчера), замени все файлы, вылетать не будет.
Но если например возьмешь ту же SV98 которая упоминается в логе и увидишь старый прицел вместо нового, то это 100% ошибка с DLTX.
Больше я ничем помочь не могу.

Я баг нашел - когда используешь бинокль - у него будто полторы линзы, одна целая и справа половина сломанная ( буквально ).
Знаю, уже исправляю.

This is spot on. The fade-to-black effect while zooming along with the SB2D is just fkn mint! Great design. 10/10
It's funny that you mentioned this, because I myself only recently noticed this effect, it only works on this version of SB2D Moddb.com, in short, it turned out spontaneously because earlier I entered a couple of values into the SBD2 settings and removed the brightness outside the scope. For a compatability patch with the AUGmented mod Moddb.com these weapon IDs need ACOG blocks DLTX'd in:

wpn_aug_modern_acog
The built-in scope on the Aug A1 works perfectly fine with your mod though :)

Excellent. Got a few more for you then, these are for the G36 pack Moddb.com but there's one little issue to handle.
First, the G36 pack removes the G36K's built in optics, so wpn_g36k needs its dltx patch undone for compatability with the mod.
And next, these 3 weapon IDs need ACOG blocks too:
wpn_g36_camo_acog
wpn_g36k_acog
wpn_g36_nimble_acog
This was the last weapon pack in my mod list that needed patching, so no more compat comments from me for awhile now. Thanks for all the hard work btw
Hey, love the addon. Nice clean reticles for things. Small problem, it seems to throw the muzzle flashes for me in front of the reticle as if the zoom of the muzzle flash is out.
I've never thought about it, but I'll see what can be done, maybe position of muzzle flashes can be changed in configs.

in gamedata/configs/mod_system_simplified_scopes.ltx , line 12 needs to change to :

A few things I noticed:
- Normal acog works but the one mounted on L85A2 (on all) doesn't work instead SUSAT reticle is displayed.
- Wpn_Vintorez_alt PSO-1 doesn't work
