By default every weapon has a different sensitivity, with this addon all of them have the base sensitivity without modifiers.
Compatibility:
It overwrites every weapon config file in Anomaly, so if you have those modified, it will break your modifications.
In case you want to do this manually instead of overwriting, you need to change the next line in every weapon ltx config file in gamedata/configs/weapons:
control_inertion_factor = 1.0f
Handguns are 1.0f by default, everything else should have a different value and you need to change it to 1.0f
Some weapons have the command control_inertion_factor duplicated and it appears near the top as 1.0, ignore it and scroll down, there should be another one (usually under "дисперси¤") and that's the one you want to change.
Thank you so much. Been playing Stalker for a very long time and I am happy to see that someone has finally made this patch.
The handling mechanic is poorly implemented and having different sensitivities for different weapons makes no damn sense!
what do you mean by sensitivity ?
Turning speed when unholstered.
By default, every weapon has a modifier on this besides handguns, suposedly it tries to emulate the weapon weight, but for me it ends up being very annoying as I'm used to the same sensitivity in every single game since CS 1.6.
I did this for me initialy, but thought someone could like it and I uploaded it.
For what version? 1.4?
It should work with any version unless major changes are made to the weapon config files.
If they add new weapons it won't work for those new weapons, but it will still work for the old ones.
In case of new weapons, you can modify the files easily following the steps in the description, each weapon has an individual config file so it shouldn't be messy.
It's very nice to see this exist for CoP. Good job mate.
Unfortunately, mods like ABR (an amazing mod btw) can not incorporate this ... or maybe there is a way?
Sorry for the late reply.
There should be a way, you just need to find the weapon config files on whatever mod you are using, and modify them following the info on this addon's description.

Not sure if this works with the most recent version or if more weapons were added, that sensitivity **** is so annoying.
