This AHK script allows you to have a hotkey for go prone, and make your walk and crounch actions to not overlap each other, example: in vanila stalker when you press crouch -you crouch. But if you press walk key after that - you go prone. this script fixes that: if you crouch and then press walk key - crouch is canceled and you start to walk. The same logic applies to other key combinations.
in .rar archieve there is to files (you need to choose and lauch only one):
- 1) .exe file for those who want to use script out of the box (you will need to change your controls, for crouch,walk,unbind Z and mouse button4.. detailed instructions are written below)
- 2) .ahk file for those who want to use their own controls, and edit some line of code in my ahk script. I provided some coments inseide AHK file how to do that
!!! This script should only work if your crouch and walk actions are set to toggle in game options Sprint should work fine despite if it set to toggle or not
- For those who want to use it out of the box: Before launching this script, you need to do some preparations: you need to change your ingame controls: set crouch to "F6", walk to "F8", and set Sprint to "Shift". Dont, worry, you will not need to press F6 or F8 ingame for those actions. They will be virtualy pressed You can set freelook to alt, like I did, if you want. If you have any actions binded to mouse button 4 and "Z" - unbind them. Those keys shouldn't be assigned in controls. (by default in gamma Z key is assigned in MCMmenu - Patches by Hoykey - set it to other key of turn it off) That is all with preparations, now you can launch the script and play the game, using this controls: Walk - mouse button 4 Sprint - Shift Crouch - Control go Prone - Z
- If you want to edit .ahk file you need to open it in text editor. Notepad++ or similar programs will do fine. But you will need AHK Syntax Highlighting, like this one for notepad++ Github.com .. futher instructions how to edit the script - inside .ahk file. After you finish your edits: Argh, launch .ahk file

!!! Known bugs:
1)when you change stance: your PDA can open/close automaticly (it hapend to me if I set ctrl to crouch) to fix this you need to install mod MCM keywraper by ravenascendant Moddb.com then in the game press ESC and go to Mod Configuration Menu - MCM - Key Wraper - PDA and set your PDA or MAP keys there. And dont forget enable checkbox
2) If you load the save or type some text(give your save/stash/marker a name), you may occur in some situation that script do not know in which stance are you now. To fix this let script know about your stance by pressing your Sprint key: just a single press with half a second sprint will be fine (изменено)

Great. I changed the hk file to exe file after modifying it, but it didn't apply. Am I doing it the wrong way? I used notepad++ and applied Syntax Highlighting.

So I never use walk toggle. I want to use the out of the box script but do I have to bind walk to mouse 4 or can I just have mouse 4 as my own bind and leave z as prone. Or will this not work
