I don't know if someone had modified it for bf2, but i try it. There is a problem with the previous version. I solve it
Attention!I don't know why in my computer it is fine. And I don't know if everyone could run it well.
Because I modifide it for bf2 from Xpack, so I rewrite info describe:
"Because of the same enemy and China want MEC to trap USA as much as possible in Middle East to ease the situation on the Chinese battlefield, so China gives the MEC lots of strategic material. But USA quickly found this shabby airport through intelligence, and USA mobilized troops for a night attack to capture the airport at once. As a result, an inevitable battle was unfolding here tonight."
I use the menumap given by By_X_RaY( Thanks worldlife123 and By_X_RaY)
This is a map for bf2 that I modified based on the map [Night Flight] of Xpack. I replace all the vehicles of Xpack with the original bf2 vehicles (add a few extra tanks and armored vehicles). The spawn position of the vehicle and soldier are almost exactly the same as before. This map is applicable to the original bf2.
Whether you have the MOD Xpack (Special Forces DLC) or not, you can play it directly. (It is best not to touch Objects.zip, Common.zip, Menu.zip and server.zip/ServerArchives.con, which are the buildings, lights and other Xpack-specific things in the map)
Map changes:
Originally, the visual range of Xpack was about 175, but I changed it to 295.
if you are not satisfied, please open the server.zip/sky.con and find this code "renderer. fogstarttendbase 0.00/295.00/1.00/0.00", which is the fog concentration of the map (just change the number "295" is Ok); Then open the server.zip/init.con file and find the code "gamelogic.maximumlevelviewdistance 300", which is the maximum visible distance of the map
You change these two values to the values you want, but don't be too high. After all, this is a night battle (suggestion: fog value = maximum visible distance -5)
I changed the Bot's distance of sight to 200 (I suggest you don't change it, otherwise you will probably be killed by it without finding the enemy Bot in the dark)
And i transplant Xpack NightVision equipment (press "7" for those who have never played Xpack). In order to add this equipment, I simply made Kit (with suffix "_b")
Since this map is slowly transplanted from Xpack by myself, I may forget some small things, so please forgive me when you find the problem.
Happy Play This Map And If you have every problems for this map, you can leave a comment down below please. Thank for everyone who contributes to BF2!

Drive.google.com
I've made these from worldlife's infomap generator as well but i've updated the flags and combat area by myself to make closer to vanilla version more. I'm thinking to release it pretty soon :)
Thank you friend.
I ventured to ask you "Can you run this modified map well?"
because it is fine in my computer, but my friends and others tell me have lots of Problems. Please don't mind.
Yep i run this modified map well.
Thanks.
And can you help me solve a problem of this modified map?
My friend told me when he played it, he found some houses became too dark to see clearly when he approached the houses, but it was fine when he at a distance from the houses.
But it is Ok in my computer. I don't konw how to deal with this problem for my friend. If you know anything, please tell me. Thank you very much.
Hmm that might be related to vision of the map. It works fine on me with medium settings. I just realised nightvision activation sound is missing, i fixed it by myself. I'm currently porting the map over AIX2
Hey. I understand what you mean now, playtested with my brother & friends apperantly my brother sees the houses too dark. That's because probably related to the settings of the game also after loading another map the terrain was black.
Thank you very much.
you're welcome! i heard about xpack shaders are not that well working or something so maybe that's why.
very nice map.
