More Enjoyable Difficulties mod changes how hard starting difficulties are!
I've noticed that with some better tweaked settings,game starts being much more enjoyable.
(REQUIRES NEW GAME)
Gameplay difficulties :
Easy is actually easy now! It is super recommended to starter players to learn how the game works.
Medium is for a more in-between enjoyable experience,stalkers can still kill you fast but so can you them!
Hard is for Stalkers that are really looking for a challenge! This makes everything almost miserable but keeps the feel of fairness.
Economy difficulties :
Tourist is for people that are yet starting to explore the Anomaly's economy or those who want extremely quick start ups!
Scavenger is almost as same as Anomaly's,except it's a bit less frustrating.
Survivalist,some of the aspects that seemed extremely ridiculous and were just straight up against the player were dumbed down to feel atleast a bit fair.
Installation :
Drag it into your Anomaly folder & voula! (Or use a mod organizer)

Difficulty.ltx

Unrelated to your mod, but would it be possible to edit the Difficulty.ltx so that certain new game options show up as default? I would like iron man with 5 lives to be the default setting on new game instead of having to change it, would the Difficulty.ltx file be the file to edit in order to do that? And if not that file, which file would it be be?
Difficulty.ltx only changes..well,the difficulty settings when you start the game. (Gameplay & Progression settings) And I am not sure what file exactly modifies the default for new game menu.

playing on hard/scavenger always felt weird, but survivalist was just straight up unfair 90% of the time
I'm pretty sure you can change all of it with option sliders.
Difficulty is just a certain preset of sliders. :shrug:
Yes,these are only presets,you can change each thing individually in the settings of the game.
That was what i looking yesterday. Hope game will be more difficult!

Hi. Does this affect enemy accuracy? If so, to what degree is it changed in each difficulty mode?
It affects the enemy accuracy yes,but I've made it something like this
:
Easy - Enemies will miss a lot more often even when in close combat and further away without a sniper
Medium - Enemies will know how to use guns and hit you around close and mid range,however,they still suck father away
Hard - Aimbot pretty much but not like hardcore aim.
