It contains a more polished version of the axe/sledge animations and a lot more bug-fixes/features like usable animated shovels too
The "BARRY'S BETTER AXES" mod description recommends that mod too, ill probably archive the barrys-better-axes mod later and make the animations a completely standalone option in the melee-features-mod, right now the updated axe/sledge animations are bundled with the usable shovels component
This retexture will still work perfectly with the more-melee-features mod, all the texture paths are still the exact same between both mods

That sledgehammer! Wow...nice. OK, the only problem with Barrys' animations is that you can still harvest killed mutants with the sledgehammer; very immersion breaking animation there with such a dull instrument (not smart, lol).
Such is life in the zone.
