"Make Death into a bad dream" When you die you respawn at your last sleeping location. Most of your gear is dropped as a stash. Stash is marked on map. Should go without saying this is not compatible with Azazel mode or the Respawn mod. Should work with Ironman the same way that Azazel mode does, but again this has not been tested. This mod subscribes to the bethesda/cdpr school of bug testing: let the user do it.

hello. I really liked your mod and I really need it, but there are some problems. if I sleep in one location and die on it, I am reborn in bed, but if I died in another location, then being reborn in the location where I slept, the addon breaks down and with subsequent "death" my health is replenished to the maximum and that's it (example: I slept on the Cordon, died in a Landfill - was reborn on the Cordon, but then after death in the same place where I died, I immediately get up with full health and it turns out that I am immortal and do not lose anything). Also what does it mean by most of your inventory? are there some blacklisted items such as story items that wont be placed in the stash or is it random items that you will permanently lose upon death
I sort of copied the code from the back pack quick release. so you keep ammo, quest items, and all equipped gear.
Honestly typing it out like that is seems like too much. probably should also take at least the rifle slot, maybe armor too.

Interesting idea, is it possible to integrate it as a gamemode toggle option on the new game menu? I ask mainly because i assume this mod wouldn't work on Ironman and/or Azazel runs.
Azazel mode will definitely conflict.
Iron man might work fine tho. deducting lives each time you respawn. Has not been tested.

Fair enough, though you could probably have Azazel compatibility by keeping the stash drop mechanic but cutting out the respawn part.

If that script is nil you don't have the correct anomaly installation. Anomaly 1.5.0 beta did not have this script. perhaps you have not upgraded or not upgraded correctly.
Seems the controls freeze when respawning. The Esc button works and F to sleep, but no other controls. If F is pressed to sleep then all controls stop (Esc no longer works either)

ok, update, generelly PSI-storm, die on vertex ends with the error, no controll.
ok too bad, i have to deactivate it completely in the meantime. once the PSI-storm, also with 'dont kill' it ends in the mentioned error, so you should deactivate. the same will surely happen with emission (not tested). meanwhile the teleport doesn't work anymore, so i get respawned on the spot, am temporarily immortal, until i get killed again. no stash is created in the process either. that's also the reason i have to deactivate it. the first time this happened was when i died in an electro anomaly, stash created, then got shot right there, empty stash (maybe bug trigger?) created, then went again, after that it started with the on-site respawn.

This is wonderful mod/idea. Needs work to squish bugs and improve compatibility n such.
To fix the bug where you cant die after been respawned after death in location different that you've respawned (slept):
