Play the Main Quest using Military Faction, Disguise your companions, And a few other changes. (HD MODELS ADDON REQUIRED TO PLAY THIS ADDON)
List of Changes:
LOST TO THE ZONE
As a military, you can start the Lost to the Zone questline from either General Varonin (duty) or Prof. Sakharov (ecologist)
Most important people and those crucial to the main story are marked "trader" or are Ecologist to make them neutral to the player to avoid problems.
Examples: All guards at the bar are marked Trader to avoid useless bodies that cannot despawn to lie around even if u kill them.
Characters like the Gatekeeper are changed to Ecologists to avoid Military-Stalker enemies problems and to be Enemies to monolith at the same time.
Characters like Beard are made Trader also for such reasons.
Strelok and his friends are made Ecologists to avoid being enemies also.
More starting locations for all factions.
Other Stuff
You can ask most NPCs to disguise themselves as your faction. (or the faction you are disguised as)
Optional: Disguise as Renegade, Sin, ISG and Monolith.
Compatibility
The addon has issues with Warfare overhaul addon because the file for disguising other NPC hampers with some of the aspects of the Warfare Overhaul addon dialogues.
If you have that addon I suggest you do not copy the contents in the "script" folder. Though the option for Disguising NPC will still show it will have no effect, but you will get the rest of the addon.
Aside form this I personally expect this addon to work with others if said addons do not have anything to do with changing Important people's community or some kind of new custom storyline.
NOTE
You can do the Lost to the Zone from Sakharov with even Renegades, Bandits, Sin or Monolith as long as u disguise yourself to a Faction that is neutral to the Quest NPCs. It works but I have not tested it till the end of Operation Afterglow. And as of ISG, have not tested it at all so I dont know weather it works.
If you get a crashing saying no expression or some files missing it will probably mean you do not have HD MODELS ADDON
If there are any problems do comment and I will try to patch it.
RECENT PATCHES:
10\11\21 Found that all faction disguise was not working and is now fixed. Redownload if u have already downloaded or face disguising issue or game crash.

I did a playthrough of the first mod, prior to this re-worked version, and it was pretty good. I simply changed my faction to ecologist at the crucial time and it played very smooth.
Genuine question - Why would I want to use this re-worked version?
Before, to make the loners neutral i have made it so that disabling the scorcher gave a tremendous amount of goodwill towards stalkers. Well this was pretty broken because if u get access to the 4th or 5th tier equipment right away and only you but not your friends and neutral to the loners.
So in this version, i have made it so that those things are no more needed as all crucial characters are neutral to the player by default. And also with the addition that you can let your companions disguise themselves like you do by simply talking to them.
Okay, thanks for the response. I think I'm gonna stick with your first iteration simply 'cause I like the status quo of factions as they stand at the moment. I can easily work around the issues you outlined. Appreciate your work!

No. Last time i put my personal mods and other stuff in it as well there were more who wanted just the quest. So i decided to not add it here.
But dont worry i have new outfits addon coming up it will feature the Exoseva and a bunch of other suits.
Mod is working just fine. Omw to Zaton with no issues so far.

Question: Are Strelok and the others tied to the quest, Ecologists or Loners in the *previous* version?
I justgit to Doctor's location in Great Swamp and my tier 3 PDA lists him as an ecologist on the map.
in the previous version Strelok and his dudes are Loners which was a problem in terms of game progression since they are naturally enemies with the military.
so in this version they are ecologists in order to fix the issues of being enemies

hey, so i have a question. I manually installed the mod, and started the playthrough as a military soldier. Thing is, quest is not on my pda. I didn't have any conflicts when installing it, so it should be working. Does the questline appear eventually through progression?
It's a little bit confusing to me, since i am new to modding videogames + there wasn't a read-me explaining how the mod works.
Hopefully you can clear things up. Either way, will continue playing the game.
edit = found out that talking to professor Sakharov in Yantar will trigger the quest.

I really want to play LTTZ as military, but the fact that i have to use HD models, which i dont like, is pushing me away from your mod. If it is possible, could you please make a version that doesn't require HD models, please? That would be facinating!
