I was wondering something about that ! Doesn’t the game has multiple fractures entity already ? I can see four or five versions in the debug window, with at least two that seems strictly identical. Shouldn’t it be possible to make them different and all spawn in the world ?! Anyhow, indeed I agree, it would be nice ! I love those bastards.
(Edit: Well strangely enough, after I said that, now I see only one fracture entity in my debug… I wonder what causes that change, I swear I saw them last time x)
Hey Jek1nd, sounds cool but the sounds should be in mono not stereo and it seems like proper ogg comments are missing. Other than that, it do be scary, well done.
Hello. This is my first anomaly mod. I don’t really understand this yet, I had these sounds on my computer for a long time, and I decided to put them on fracture. Thanks for the tip.
These sounds make it sound like some bad-*** monster about to wreck your ****, and then .. this derp with coat hangers for arms comes out, barely able to walk lol.
Just a suggestion. This almost sounds like they are in the Underground or indoors. Is there a way to make a separate sound for outdoors that isn't as echo-ey?
The "Missing ogg-comment" error tells you that the sound does not have the metadata that the game uses to determine characteristics of the sound like base volume, sound dropoff distance, AI sensitivity to the sound, sound type, etc. Sound type is used by the NPCs to determine how to respond to the sound.
An "Invalid ogg-comment version" error implies that there's some metadata, but it doesn't correspond to the game's expectations. Maybe the file has metadata for the sound's author or the album it's from, but not game-related stuff.
You can find out a bit more and even get a tool to fix these sounds. Edit:
For u/PuckzPoE and any others interested: These errors don't cause crashes, although they can make NPCs overly alert to sounds across the map if there's no dropoff info, or if the sound doesn't have a type assigned.
Hi, I wouldn't mind a short summary (I am computer/modding literate). I'm in the middle of fixing the sound effects in my private mod-pack, and I'm not entirely sure how to proceed to fix those files properly. I'm using the SAVandT thingy. If there's something more than just setting the "type of sound" in the dropdown menu, I'd be happy to get a pointer or two. :)
the tittle fits perfectly. it sounds ******* terrifying
звук похожий из фильма Я Легенда , на тех зомбиков
This is incredible... I'm going to use it for my modpack
Nice sounds. I would say, there should be some special kind of fracture (more deadly, only spawning at night and featuring these spooky sounds)

Спасибо. Идея хорошая, но боюсь,я вообще не понимаю в скриптах. А так, было бы очень даже хорошо.
It reminds me a lot of Cry of Fear (the screams of a real madman like the monsters in that game) it seems perfect to me, well done 10/10.
Will there be more sounds like this?

what mod is that for the fracture? that one in your video is way faster tan the one in the base anomaly, i want that and your mod!
He said he included it in the files, when installing just choose the 2nd option that includes both.
I'm playing gamma assembly, the fracture is very fast there. Unfortunately, I do not know which mod is responsible for this
It’s an addon from Gamma itself : Mutants overhaul.
Though, It can be done by modifying the file related to said mob,
« m_fracture.ltx » in /configs/creatures; Looking for the section « speed factors ».
I'll add it to the option in the next update

Done
Awesome thank you!
ahora si da miedo :3
One of the files is misnamed in 3.1 (idle_0ogg.ogg)
Beside that, good job :)
Thank you very much. I'll fix it
Is there a seperate mod that makes Fractures work like in Gamma?
AI the fracture as in GAMMA, is archived as optional

Nice
This mod will make you wish you were wearing brown pants while playing this game.
I liked the mod but I had problems with the audio files, I fixed them
Drive.google.com
Personally, I did not notice the difference. But I will leave it in the option if the user has a problem with the sound. Thanks
The files aren't missing, just the comments.

I'll take that into account. Thanks for the help

Just look at how the original sound that I unpacked from the game and added to the mod was configured.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this mod now i get drenched in sweat hearing those fracture at night from the merc base
Did you add the subtitles at the bottom? If not what mod is that??
I added them to the program.
Really gives me Darkwood vibes and I love it
