Would it be possible to label the unpurified water with a different name/icon to help differentiate it? This is a great concept that I'm surprised hasn't been made before. Good job bro.

this is dope, also any reason why the plastic water bottles arent used in the same vein? does the purification method create too much heat or whatever that it could melt the bottle?
Eh, it's easy to implement bottles and other containers. I just didn't want to clutter the game.
Could you add bottles as optional maybe?

Gonna test asap, fillable containers is a must have in Stalker! Also, i remember that Anomaly used to have Akvatabs, it would be nice if we could purify water using them.

Yeah, that's what I use. Tbh character drinking akvatabs in vanilla to cure rads in nonsense.

Hi really like the sound of this mod goes well with survival gameplay but seems to cause issues with crafting overhaul mods ? any chance of a patch ? for groks craft and repair /trader overhaul and attachment overhaul please oh also seems to conflict with ammo maker ?
yes i know i'm asking a lot and i'm sorry i dont know how to merge files properly yet and dont currently have time to learn.

It's just a couple of lines in the end of craft.ltx, really easy merge.

Edit: sorted it thank you your advice ! just a case of copying last two lines over to my existing craft.ltx as you said , again thank you for this immersion adding mod :)

Greetings, I am something new when it comes to editing files, could you please tell me which File and Line should I Edit for compatibility? since I have exactly the same problem
Based on what was confirmed above, it should be: in /configs/items/settings/ find the craft.ltx file from Fillable Canteens addon.
Copy lines 321 and 322 at the bottom of the file:
dirty_water:akvatab = flask
akvatab:dirty_water = flask
Paste at the very end of the craft.ltx file that was provided by Grok's Craft and Repair Overhaul

This is a great little addon. I've been playing around with all traders removed, and while it's simple to hunt mutants for food there wasn't any sustainable source of water.

Good job, I've been waiting for this mod for a long time, but It would be nice to be able to refill the flask from the water barrels that are in the camps.
when im making dog chops (stewed) with my army kettle over an fireplace my purified water is used but i dont get an empty bottle this way

There was an addon, one of the very first Anomaly addons, that had this idea. It was a good addon, and it was a shame to see it die.

Great mod, but there are still a few bugs...
1) Only a full canteen can be purified by boiling. Drinking once from it will "grey" it out on the cooking menu, even if you have all the required cooking items.
2) Using Akvitabs will give you a full canteen, even if you had only one use left in your canteen. So 1 drink left > use tablet > full canteen again, which doesn't make much sense.
3) Not a bug... but could possibly make empty canteen merge into one if combined on the inventory? Not a deal breaker but it makes no sense to carry around a bunch of empty canteens.

Is it compatible with Outfit Attachment Overhaul's camelback refill mechanic (will a camelback return flasks after use or consume them with the water?)?
