You like Dead Air, you just wish it was a bit more like other mods, well we agree my friend. Come on in, let me show you what I got for you.
This is my personal set of little tweaks that I wanted to share with the community.
You can pick your poison or take it all, its up to you. The ones that require a new game will be marked with this: (*)
Here is the list for your viewing pleasure:
(*).Dosimeter and sleeping bag: Regardless of your loadout you start with something to check for the silent killer and something to rest you bones.
.No strafe animations: Removes the realignment animation when you are aiming and decide to move one millimeter to the side.
.Radiation and stamina improvements: I took the radiation configuration so you loose it a bit a the time, during your sleep (It shouldn't kill you any more, but I'm not completely sure) and the stamina strait from the files of Last Day. I don't personally like LA, but I thought this might be something others would.
.Remove animations and fadeouts: You no longer play the animation or pass out momentarily.
.Remove headbob: Well, you know, don't shake you head.
.Heavily reduced Sway: It is not completely gone, it gets affected by stamina, but it's very easy to manage if you are still, (The steady hands perk affects recoil not this).
.Heavily reduced Recoil: Recoil is much more manageable and the Steady hands perks is even better.
.Less shrapnel in grenades: Reduces the amount of fragmentation on the grenades to avoid possible CTDs and instantaneous kills.
.2 Times use medkits: All medkits have two uses now. The packing mechanic can't be used so your inventory might get a little cluttered.
(*).Loadout changes:
All perks that where 30p are now 20p, and all that where 20p are now 10p.
Basic equipment is 20 points, also the experienced stalker kit comes with a Makarov, 40 rounds and binoculars.
And now for the new equipment options:
"WW2 Relic" 50p: Start with a Mosin Nagant, a bayonet and 20 rounds of ammo.
"Policeman's basics" 40p: Start with a Beretta 92, 40 rounds and a Kevlar sheet.
"Bandit Delight" 30p: Start with a TT33, 40 rounds, cocaine, cigarettes and bread.
"Alcohol infused" 10p: A bottle of vodka, a beer and a table of activated carbon.
"Hunter kit" 40p: TOZ-34, 20 slugs, mineral water, hunting knife, hunting pack and a MRE.
(I plan on adding more options in future, who knows if I learn how the perks work I could do some).
If you want something I can look into it, but please understand that I have no talent for programming or textures or models or any of that. I have luck and free time.

Sounds interesting! Do you think you could fix the clipping on the animations for some of the rifles and long shotguns? I've been looking for the value that affects the position of your hands the gun when in first person. Anyways, it's good to see another person making add-ons for Dead Air!

This causes issues with some weapons and setting it too low makes it look like you're holding your guns up next to your cheek.
Thats for the Addon. The recoil and sway in this was beyond realistic. Two shot with my pistol caused me to aim 5 feet above my target...ridiculous XD The Loudout changes are neat. Can you fix the Mercenary one? It actually says he comes with a suppressed pistol but just comes with the suppressor... Thanks!

Excellent job, most of these are flat out necessary to play the game. Please work on some perks! I'd be cool to see what you come up with, that way I can start another playthrough lol.

My main request would be the option to disable NPC's looting stashes. I've had stashes looted even at the rooftop of buildings, where I know NPC's can't and won't go. Really annoying.

I took the values from LD like I said, honestly I like the radiation on normal DA.
There's some way you can export the No main quest and disabled brainscorcher from last day? and maybe azazel mode.

i was going to take the animation remover thing, but I already reduced time factor to 5 for the animations and changing it again would require a new game

Paste the gamedata folder into the main files, not in database folder, or create one with that name. That should work out.
Is there a gamedata folder in your dead air folder? i downloaded mod from official vk page, it seems that game data is archived into .dbl files
Nope, i had to create it in the main files when i downloaded from the translation section.
I dont think the recoil is working, i still have insane recoil, i cant shoot a burst from akms, without weapon barrel pointing the sun.
Maybe you know how we can fix sleep bug. if i remove sleep from options/game i have bug. if i dont sleep my senstivity reduced. where that ltx file?
Hello!! Can someone tell me where he can get the seva suit? and another thing how can I get to Yantar ?? I tried it through roostock but when I got to the entrance where the vanilla had mercenary shooters I lose life without reason as if it were psionic attacks .. also try for dead city but the psychic barrier does not let me go far .. any ideas?
There is a Bug and i dont know if its relatet to that mod. I cant create stashes. I click on the field back pack and nothing happens. Any Ideas wich files are relatet to create stashes ?

breath_koef in [actor], so i take the actor file from another mod, and Works.. but i didn't see any changes on recoil. Btw, how to get rid off the massive amount of mutants, specially the dogs. I know there's a mod here to do that, but when i reach on garbage, after some minutes the game crash and i can only play if delete the files from the mod, there some another way and one more thing, how to show enemies spots, and corpes on the minimap..?

I had a look since I had the same error, and you're right, the line for Breath Coefficient is completely missing.
I opened the Actor.ltx file from a couple other mods and checked what they had the value for breath_koef set to.
So all I had to do was add in the line "breath_koef = 0.02" somewhere near the similar lines for running, sprinting etc. and now I can start the game and play fine, it seems.
(Also took the opportunity to increase movement speed while I was in there)

Hello, please be aware that you are not able to edit the bloom setting while using xr.actor.script file in the 'Heavily Reduced Recoil' folder and the ALL folder. If anyone knows of a way to fix this please let me know. I am not able to edit script files so I am not using this currently. FYI bloom is set to 1.3 (way too high) and even when set to any other value it will reset to the value listed here.
