Haven't tried, probably would work, I haven't altered any code, just swapped out a few .ogg audio tracks.

can you put a sound file on here and specify which guitar tracks your replacing?
Unfortunately I don't remember which tracks I took out, I made the mod a while back. I made sure not to take out any track that we've come to associate with Stalker, so all the best tracks are still there. Links for the songs I've added are above.
Why is that I can't even hear playing guitar when I pick myself. Animation goes on but no sound comes out.
hm not sure, never had any problems myself, would be interested to know if anyone else is experiencing that. Let me know if it keeps happening and I might have a look into it.
I'm having this issue. Happens with or without the mod... Maybe it's something to do with RC18?
If its happening without the mod something else must be causing it, it might be a problem with RC18 but I haven't used RC18 so cant say for sure.

Nice addon, very inspiring! Would you be so kind to explain briefly how to add my own songs? Of course OGG tracks are necessary, but what`s else? Sorry for stupid question, but I know nothing about modding...
no worries, I was new to modding as well, had to research and figure things out through trial and error.
You need to download a program that allows you to unpack the base game (Do a google search for "Decompressor to unpack the *.db files"), this will give you access to files and folders hidden in Anomaly's db folder. This is where the folders containing all the sound and music for the game is hidden.
Once youve done this, download the free audio editor Audacity, and use it to convert your music you want to add to a format Anomaly can understand. As you said it needs to be an .ogg file. It also has to be mono, 44.1khz, and 16 bit.
Then you'll need to put your music in the correct sound folder in Anomaly's db folder that you unpacked.
For guidance do a google search for "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. MOD portal", and in that site do a search for "Editing Music and Sounds".

Love the mod, although is there any way to increase the sound volume in these new tracks? It is awfully quiet and often drown out by rain or even the fire nearby.
Does this work with the newest Anomaly version? Or hell, even GAMMA?
