I've missed the good old AK47 and AKS47 from Blindeside's reanimation mod. This mod contains an original Vanilla sound and a JSRS sound version. Use the JSRS with caution, maybe it'll mess up your "weapon_sounds" LTX....didn't test it much. DLTX 1.5.2 required!!! Minor texture issues with the animation at the magwell and the gp 25

Currently working on a weapon mod pack with these fixes and nearly all of the vanilla weapon AWAR animation fixes, polymer mag sounds.

Didn't test it with AWAR. I'll look into it.
Probably conflicts the AWAR "weapon_sounds" ltx inside "gamedata/configs/items/weapons". The mod system LTX in gamedata/configs is overwriting sound paths. Do you have an error code?

Open the "mod_system_000" LTX inside gamedata/configs and add a ! To that line.
It should look like this:

If that also wont work, than remove the ; from that line, if there is any.

would be cool to see ak-74m and ak-100s series how player holds like akm (left hand holding a grip instead of mag like gay)

This meant to be an addon for the Blindside reanimation mod. I don't want to complicate things with scopes etc.....
Tried the opposit with the AK47, but it's a mess.
You can try, just change the "anm" lines in the "w_ak" LTX and rename the hud and hud hands animations inside meshes. Expect a lot of crashes, but it can be done....I think.
Oh wait....no It's not a mess. Actually it's pretty easy.
Lets say you want the AK103 changed like that.
Copy all of the "anm" lines in "w_ak" and replace the "anm" lines in "w_ak103"
After that do the same with the AK103 hud and hands animation files inside "meshes". This is exactly the way I've created this mod.
Oh and dont forget about the hands positions and aim positions.
Maaaaybe you dont need to change the hud and hand animation files........nwm, take a try

well, i did that and now it gives crashes after changing animations for ak-101, ak-102 and ak-105

Ok, I did it.
You need to rename 2 animation files. The ak103 hud animation file and the ak100 hud hand animation file
wpn_akm_hud_animation ---> wpn_ak103_hud_animation
wpn_hand_akm_hud_animation ---> wpn_hand_ak100_hud_animation
After this you have to edit the "w_ak103" LTX
Copy all of the hand, aim, grenade launcher, lowered positions and all of the "anm" lines from "w_akm" LTX and replace them in the "w_ak103" LTX
This is the only way, to change the hand position on the AK 100 series rifles, but it will also change the reload animation to AKM and you have to fine tune the aiming in debug mod "weapon hud editor", coz the iron sight is a bit off to the right. Didnt test the scopes.
Oh and this will mess up ALL of the AK 100 series, so you have to change every single one of their animation files and edit the weapon LTX files and fine tune the iron sights.

Hello I am using MO2 and I have a question. On installation, should this plugin go before or after BaS in the mods list?
Remove the "mod_system_000" and load it after BaS. I think it will work, but the sounds are gonna be vanilla.

Greetings, you was right, apparently, removing the mod_system_000 file and also placing it after BaS the weapon loses all sounds. may not be compatible with BaS?
Didn't test it with BaS, probably there wont be any sounds, if you delete the mod_system LTX. The only way to add sounds for the AK was the mod_system LTX.
