Some guns can now take non-AO3 scopes - namely the PSO-1 scope and its variants (night, detector, variable zoom) and the SUSAT scope and its variants (variable zoom, night, detector, dusk sight). Note since these 2 particular scopes are non-AO3, THEY CAN be detached normally, without the use of the Multi-Tool.
NPCs will now occasionally spawn with optics on their weapons.

It's interesting AOW but the issue there're too many weapons (without talking for the new type of ammunition) for the game at the end you don't need to use them everything if not few weapons in my experience with the original Call Of Chernobyl.
Fair enough, but I don't really mind the large amount of weapons, just thought it's fun seeing so many guns.
Is there any list of weapons? What about damage?
The weapons are the same as the CoC verison. If you've played the CoC verison, you should be familiar with the weapon list then. Damage should the same as default as well.
Scopes and silencers are same as in CoC version?
Yes they are the same, but they have also not been 100% tested.

I've never used AO. Does it have a big impact on the game/trading economy, and I won't see like bandits in Cordon with high tier NATO weapons will I?
I dont think it has any impact on the game economy, i havent really noticed. Bandits with high tier nato weapons should be pretty rare, unless they looted them off someone.
I've run into a bug where I can't put sights on weapons like Red dots on LR300 or a Acog on a L85.
Just uploaded the new version, attaching optics should now work.

I literally don't have it. I've reinstalled multiple times. The only spawn item than even mentions "addon" looks like an artifact and is under consumables.
At this point I just respawn weapons when I can't remove a scope.

It was something in the weapons folder overwriting a(n) file/icon in AO3.

Trying to start a monolith play through with AO3 installed, mod crashes whenever I try to talk with Rabbit. I've tried with the mod off and I was able to talk to him. Here's my crash log.

Okay, here's a little hotfix for issues regarding the Monolith trader, and other traders as well. Beard also once again sells detectors too, and Nimble will no longer sell the Svarog detector.
Additionally traders should be back to their default values, regarding selling items and buying items off the player.
The fix will be incorporated into the main download soon, so in the meantime just download the fix here extract the gamedata folder from the archive in your main directory: Mediafire.com

I was wondering what happened.
Why the Acog reticle is misaligned in most weapons? it's really nice to see the acog in 3D but that bug is very annoying
Might be a modelling issue, which is something I can't really fix and something I haven't touched at all. A possible workaround is I could switch the scopes from 3D into 2D for weapons which have the misaligned reticles?
2D scopes would be pretty cool as a side add-on for all weapons if they wouldn't be too much work. I am not a fan of 3D scopes.
The PSO scope on vintorez has broken fov and you don't see the whole scope while aiming

I can wield the aks in one hand with the detector, I don't think I should be able to.
And I have a question. Is there a way to stop the sights/scopes from moving left or right while starting to move? Because I'm usually moving around corners or peeking and moving slightly left to right to hide behind cover and I can't shoot if I can't aim, and I can't aim, because I have to hide immediately..
1. If you mean the AKS74U can specifically be one handed with the detector, then yes that is intentional as you could also do that in the original mod. The MP7, VZ65 and PP-2000 have this ability too.
2. I assume you mean the ridiculous camera sway when you are aiming whilst moving left and right. Docs.google.com this file should fix it; just put into your game directory.

Yeah, it should have horrendous recoil if you happen to shoot it like that, but it should be posible. I train like that with flash light or other objects. (IRL)
I don't know if you've played the game or not, but it was the only 'not pistol' gun it could be done that I've known of. Now I know there are a few more weapons that can be held with the detector; nonetheless it's not possible with every gun and if it was, I wouldn't bother
it's there a way to disable the smoke when shoot the weapon? it give me a bit of low fps when i shoot without silencers :c
I do not know a way to disable smoke out of muzzleflashes, nor do I get any fps loss so this has not been an issue to me. Also that smoke should be the same as default as I have not touched that at all it could perhaps be an issue with the game instead?
I think it has something to do with muzzleflash distort effects, the similar stuff to what you see in gravity anomalies, etc.
Running the game with the -nodistorts parameter sorta fixes the issue, but recoil itself is so jumpy that it makes the game feel like it lags to me, plus after doing that I lose almost all visual clues on where gravity anomalies are, so it's up to you if you either want to shoot with less lag or keep eating medkits because you yeet yourself into vortexes.
Is it possible you could patch this to run with THAP CoZ?

I real talk can not find 9x39 at any of the last three shops I have gone through and I have have reloaded quick-saves to refresh the shop to see if I was just unlucky but I haven't been able to find any is it possible it has something to do with the mod? I found a VSK 94 and I'm just not able to use it unless i find ammo on other stalkers.
Could possibly be with the mod, yes, but my impression is 9x39 has always been rare and only common on higher-tier STALKERS.
