humm would it be better if ya made it somehow that all knief can skin but the one that arent suppose to will have nerft like slower time, damaged more, ie ?
Does this mod work with Anomaly-1.5.1.2?
I've installed it via JSGME and manually, but it still says that I need a better knife if I want to skin a wild boar at Cordon?
Edit:
Ok, I found a workaround.
Forget this mod if it doesn't work. Check if you have the following file.
- Find a file "item_knife.script" in \gamedata\scripts\ folder (if you have one - if you do not, then tough luck, this help isn't for you).
- Find a code: " for _,k in ipairs(strong_monster) do
if monster:match(k) then
if wpn:match('wpn_knife$') or wpn:match('wpn_knife2$') then
return false"
- Replace the last line from "return false" into "return true".
So, the only change is "false" to "true". It could be done much better, but this is the fastest way.

Hi friend!
Maybe a bit late, but I updated mod and it should work fine now. Thanks for advice, I gave you credit ;)
Cheers!
Not sure why this is downvoted so hard. I used it in my last run, works perfectly with 1.5.1. Used the 6x4 bayonet to skin everything.
I suppose its just the hardcore people complaining again. Because arbitrary knife requirements is more important than me using the knife I want.
Anyway, works like a charm. Thanks for the addon, author. Cheers.
