This is a WIP new game loadout mod.
This mod was created to be a balanced, vanilla+ start, without OP guns or armors, and a cost balance that should feel familiar. Check the description for screenshots.
BaS is not used since I game at 32:9 and can only use mods that are compatible with my resolution.
You do not need a 32:9 or 21:9 display for this mod.
As always I recommend using Mod Organizer 2 to install mods.
The idea behind this mod was to create a vanilla+ feeling loadout menu, without ruining the early game balance but allowing for more freedom in your selection. Most guns are available in vanilla as the intention was to maintain the difficulty and gear grind of vanilla Anomaly.
Every faction has a lore-friendly SMG, Shotgun, AR, and/or Rifle to select from, with 2-3 pistols. Extra ammo is provided but all guns will come loaded with an extra clip whether you buy additional ammo or not.
Every Faction is also provided 2 armor options. In the case of Mercs, they have 3 since 2 of them are virtually the same with different protection.
I've added screenshots so you can see for yourself.
The following mods are recommended for the 'full' experience. Only the Freedom Aug was used for loadout selection,so if you do not have that mod Freedom will not have an SMG option.

These mods are compatible with ultrawide and my perferred FOV, which is why I use them and not BaS, as well as other weapon packs.
An ultrawide monitor is not required, this mod was intended to be a balanced new game start that allows more freedom with your kit!

Why is windows defender going apeshit
Couldn't tell you, it has nothing to do with my mod. This is an LTX script, there is no executable. The admin team approved the mod which involves a virus scan. I would check the defender logs and see what's being flagged.

No that's all you dude. My issue with BAS is that I game on a 32:9 monitor (5120x1440 res) and 70 FOV + BaS scopes cause issues at such a wide res, like stretched scopes, or gun models being way too close to the camera. I made this mod without BaS for anyone else in a similar position, and my own personal use. If I make a mod, I upload it.
