Hey incubusraziel, "Some files such as death_generic and death_items are added but they no longer contain addon information" so if its my first time using the addon I can safely delete those files, correct?

Yes, the first addon has some logic, this new addon tries to be more consistent in the creation of ammunition, you can only use the ammunition type to create another type of ammunition: for example, 5.45x39 ammunition no longer is equal to 5.56x45 because the first part that is 5.45 or 5.56 is the size of the bullet and x39 or x45 is the size of the case, so logically you cannot convert a case from 39 to 45 because the Case sizes, like 5.56 and 5.45 bullets are different sizes

Thanks for the info, death generic.atx file and death_items.ltx those you can delete without problem, and the other files is just a matter of seeing where they would be combined so that they do not give a problem, but it will take time to review them all and create an addon of compatibility

This addon was made for the version where old and damaged ammunition are used, but since I am using the addon where only old ammunition is used and it does not give me problems for not having damaged (junk) ammunition. try to see if it works for you

another question, when i apply the addons name "True Barret M82 and MP7" that changed Barret M82 and MP7 to used their real-life correct ammo will it work well ? or it will have .50Cal and 4.6x30 ammo recipe for it ?

Thanks for the info, and if you had not mentioned that detail to me, I would not have noticed that error, I assumed that the ammunition for the barrett gun was the .50 ammunition but it was changed to the .338 lapua and the 4.7x30 ammunition only the I used the mp7 weapon but they changed it to a 9x19 caliber and for that reason I discarded it because in the vanilla addon if it appears but is not used, and the problem of the names that you mention that the names are corrected with the addon, well I imagine that if they are corrected, but since these ammunition are not used they would not cause any problems, knowing that they are not used because I will discard the .50 ammunition of my addon so that no conflicts or confusion

My first ammunition creation addon contained the ammunition of the 4.7x30 type and I usually use a lot of small ammunition weapons, to help the ammunition economy and when one type of ammunition is scarce, I switch to another type of weapon to let the type of ammunition I use at that time rest, usually the mp7 used it a lot but the 4.7x30 ammunition was changed for 9x19, I imagine they are too scarce in the game like the 5.7x28 that are the ones that it uses the fn p90 which is one of my favorite submachine gun types, And I mean all this, which is to help with the shortage of ammunition, but when they make a change in a type of weapon and they remove the type of ammunition that they usually use, errors occur but sometimes other players do not notice it when they do not know, no It can be said that I know a lot but well I am still learning

your ammo maker addons work well with it, just one problem is the ammo pack icon in ammo crate is unmatching with "ready to used" ammo pack

I've tagged my addon as archvied as its not longer required and if I find anything I'll gladly post about it here to help out. Really love this mod!

Have you looked into the optional change I mentioned? About the ammo crates not needing a tool to open? I understand the logic behind it, but I think it's already wasting more tool durability after all the clicking needed to disassembly other ammo to craft them.

Quick note: Careful with the build recipe for 12Ga Dart rounds! They're called "dart" but they're actually supposed to be something between a Sabot and Rifled Slug, your crafting requirements make it seem like they fire flechettes, which isn't the case.

As for the dart rounds, I meant that the ammo in the game fires 1 big bullet and not many small darts. The crafting image for the darts is incorrect. You can see this by reading the characteristics for the ammo from the stalker wiki: Stalker.fandom.com

I made an account just to comment about this dang mod.
when you install this mod it tries to overwrite so many other mods, like boom sticks and traders overhaul, the main file screwed up the traders in my game and made the buy and sell prices reset so i would be selling things as if i didnt have any goodwill with the traders.
worst of all this damn mod crashes my game if i try to remove it, at the beginning i also included its patches but they straight up just crashed my game.

i hate this mod.

Awesome! Keep it up! Personally I liked the ammo making stuff in the tools tag, that made more sense than Artifacts but i see what you're going for. Can you maybe consider moving them into the ammo tag? That would be even more organized and less saturated.

NOTE: Noticed 2 bugs:
When disassembling 8mm Mauser rounds, the notification does not appear but i still get parts from it.

Mutants and stashes still spawn the old ammo casings from the previous mod versions. This wouldnt be a problem but they arent very useful anymore.
