Very interesting work! How did you change the menu background? I tried to use the NVIDIA DDS plug-in of Photoshop to modify and save, and it crashed immediately after entering the game!
Choose a proper version of plugin - for example, 32-bit plugin doesn't work with x64 Photoshop CC and cause crashing. First of all, you need to find out which version installed on your PC
My friend, I mean, should I choose BC7 RGBA 8bpp explicit alpha for the Format option of the NVIDIA plug-in? But every time I enter the game after editing the DDS with Photoshop, it always appears transparent or crashes directly! What do you think should be the problem?
Well, I've took the original texture (using unpacker, ofc) opened in Photoshop - replaced any background by my own, merged layers and saved in DXT3 ARGB 8 bpp explicit alpha as 2D Texture - Nvidia dds Format (v8.55.0109.1800)

haha perfect. On the other hand, I actually do have a copy of the full HD image. I found it on 4chan ages ago and saved a bunch of Stalker related pictures from back around CS and CoP times. So if OP PH4N70M would like I could upload it for them.

It's 1600X1200, not sure if that is the "full sized" image, but it's what I got. Also, the link should have a one week lifespan.
Without AMK, mods would not go as far,as they are today. I remember playing 1.4.1 version in 2008 or so. AMK was a base for future big addons, just imagine, that Anomaly offline A-Life was in AMK, it was a little bit different, but it was 2008
