Whats the average size of mods you download?

Hehe, seems that people like the big ones :P. Oh well, with enough support from the community, I am sure this server will work quite well :).

My connections a bitch so I only dload the medium size ones unless I really like the look of a bigun. That should change soon though :)

Sometimes the smaller mods seem more enjoyable dunno why :/

I download all I can get... so mostly less than 5 megs (UT2004 mutators)

I've downloaded mod's for lots of different games, and that often determines the size of the file. For example alot of Bf1942 mod's are very large, 600meg plus, but Hlaf Life mods mainly are under or around 100meg and yeh, UT mutators are very small in comparison.

Sooo..I guess it depends on which game is popular at the time and the normal mod size for the engine/game.

Well, I don't even download in megabytes anymore. :P Just kidding I average 5 to 50 mb downloads.

The mods for games I play are around 900Mb too 1.8Gb

The largest mod I have ever seen was 600MB which was Desert Combat.

I voted 5-50mb.

Intense you would be suprised. Particularly now since HL2 has been released expect to see some massive mods.

The smallest and funnest mod I ever found was the Mr Pants: Excessive Mods. Very small and great fun.

However I have also downloaded several mods along the lines of 50-100MB over the years. Very few over that.

Forgotten Hope and mod and full patching for Battlefield 1942 is over 2 Gigs

Galactic Conquest Release version 5 for Battlefield 1942 is over 900 Mbs

Desert Combat, and the addon Desert Combat Final, comes to around 900Mb's

Point of Existance for Battlefield Vietnam is just under 1 Gig

I can personally attest that chis's upstream sucks.

GC Mod was prolly the biggest mod i ever dl'ed. I played it once then deleted it. ALong with that I deleted BF1942 as well since that game was so boring.

I've been known to download four 600mb+ mods all at the same time. But with a 3mbps connection, that's really no problem.

My connection is crap, so it takes about 12 hours for 115 megs, but most of the time its worth it.

lol, David Hunter in it's current dev stage is now spanning a total of 1.6 Gigabytes. It's all them maps and music I tell you. However, my most bandwidth eating mod is Epic Generals, even if it's only 700kb, it's been downloaded nearly fifty-thousand times from my server alone in the five weeks it's been available 0_o

A well built HL1 mod don't take up more than 100 MB:)

WELL ITS KINDA HARD TO GET A BIG MUMMA WITH A DIAL UP CONNECTION. ONE TIME I TRIED, IT SAID I HAD TO WAIT 37 HOURS!!!!
