If anyone doesn't know what you are talking about, then they must either be new to ModDB, or they don't deserve to be on ModDB. Get out there and vote people.
Now now, just because he doesn't have the time to play a lot of mods that doesn't mean he has no business being here. It would be like none of us should enter a food store just because we don't care that much about the differences in egg types.
I did vote, for 3 (or maybe 4?) mods that I liked.
Yeah, I only play a handful of mods (hardware limitations) but I still follow the development of dozen of those I think that are great, even though I'd probably would be never be able to play them, but I still voted them. I not only vote mods that I play, otherwise it would be a short list.
In my way of viewing it, you're in moddb to either follow or participate in one or more mods' development, so should have a pausible vote waiting arround, unless, of course, that said mod didn't manage to get into in the top 100
I like how you guys have been using the poll to direct the viewers to things they may not know about around the site and abroad in modding. Its a good use for something that is usually rhetorical and not well implemented on most sites. Keep it up!
I haven't even come close to playing all the new HL2 mods so I don't think I'm guna vote. Haven't even got round to playing Reserch and Development yet :(
I completely agree! for starters, a nice thing to do would be to set apart the hl2 mods from the others, I'm getting tired that 80% or more of the mods in the moty are from hl2 or other source games (portal, or l4d)
There is no link to the Voting. Anybody who didn't visited this website in the last days won't probably know about the MOTY. I would advise you to place at least a little permanent link on the homepage.

Of course I voted on this event ;)
I voted but there are so many great mods out there i had to take a lot of time to decide which one to vote for
you know, you can vote for more then 1 mod
I vote every year! Hope my favorites win this year!
I don't understand why you wouldn't vote.
(buried)
Because I don't really have time to take a look at all the good mods out there, and I hate voting randomly on something.
then, if you don't mind me saying, why are you on moddb at all?
agree
What if he's just here casually? Seeing if there's anything specifically of interest to him ever now and again? It was a perfectly reasonable comment.

I will do it. As soon as i have posted this advertisement regarding this on some websites..
Nah, just kidding. I have already voted.
Voted, no question about it.
This is a very hard decision. Dont rush me.
I think you can vote on multiple Games/Mods/Projects, if they haven't changed that.
"Not yet", to many pro-misses to less already shown.
And I didn't have the time to test the last few weeks.
Too bad that "The Red Alert\" didn't make it to upcoming Top100 ;(
I haven't even come close to playing all the new HL2 mods so I don't think I'm guna vote. Haven't even got round to playing Reserch and Development yet :(
I Fail -_-
There are dozens of mods I would like to be Mod of the Year! I think that moddb should have categories, so that the players would have more choices.

I voted for 0 A.D for best upcoming Indie.
I haven't heard of any of the released Indies.
Haven't played any mods other than 'firstorm over kronus' or 'DoWpro', so I have no clue which is more deserving.
It was a tough one, but my vote is cast :)
i have voted
vote for Firestorm over Kaurava
Have voted but was seriously disappointed that OverDose didn't make it :/
