Which means THE CODING HAS BEGUN!

Ah yes.. infamous c++... personnally, i have learned only but JAVA during my college semesters, but it won't be hard to port to C++ for a few months, especially since i have no JAVA classes anymore but more to the point:

Some of the effects and features that were supposed to be implemented in version 2.0 of Xmas, will instead be featured in 1.0!

Right now, learning the structure of the SDK has been a real feat for me, but it's made me cross a milestone: Being able to edit every single aspect of Half-Life by myself!

It truely is a major developement for me and Xmas... and for the fans as well! No more is Xmas a simple oversized replacement pack. Today, it is a true mod in it's purest sense!

Even better news, a fellow coder has offered me a particle engine in which new visual effects will be added to the mod such as:

-Snow (can be turned on/off by the client)
-New effects for the super soaker (Will make the stream a lot more "liquid" like.
-Explosions (Glass shards anybody?)
-and much more.

This is a great step towards 1.0 people, don't miss out!

Wellcome to C++

Try also C.. pure C, Think with C.

Learn too Perl, and maybe Python ("python includes batery" ).

Perl is sexy for huge sets of text data manipulation.
