Now in eve theres 4 factions AMARR, GALLENTE, CALDARI and MINMATAR
I'm only going to be able to make 3 of these playable due to the restrictions of the engine and the AI not liking any more than 3 playable factions. To over come this and to keep with the spirit of EVE and that no fleet is made up of exclusivly 1 factions ships i'm going to make it so you can gain access to all of the ships no matter which side you choose, you'll just have to conquer the right planets to unlock the ships. The other thing with the ships is the scaling, as there is such a HUGE difference in sizes from the frigates to the motherships and titans i may need to alter the sizes, make some larger and reduce others so their of a playable nature. As if i kept scaling true, the titans would be over 3x's the size of a Super star destroyer.
I'm planning on getting all the ships rigged and coded and working in game BEFORE i look at the GC map and adding in the planets and maps that'll need to be made so the GC is actaully based on the planets and systems of the eve universe.
It is going to take me quite awhile as there is only me working on this mod at the minute, so if anyone does want to lend a hand any and all help is appreicated.

Now i'm been given Permission by CCP to use the actaul models from the eve online universe in this mod, so all of the ships and textures you will see in game have been created by CCP. All im doing essentially is porting them from Eve to the star wars empire at war engine and creating a mod people will enjoy playing.

That actually makes me wonder how many planets and systems there are in EVE.

There is 66,856 planets in EvE Online. :D
thats rather sad, knowing exactly how many planets there are........
