Greetings Mercenaries

This is a project created by players for players.
We want you to help us and tell us what you think!

We have a lot of them too! but yours also have a place.

I will personally read them all and discuss them with the team one by one. We will try to have the next playable version by tomorrow here in IndieDB

Helmet Visors:
-Add a option to close and open helmet visors if any on the character's helm
-Closing the visor to a helmet will add more face protection
-Pointy visors should be able to deflect arrows
-Closing the visor to a helmet should limit stamina regeneration
-Closing the visor to a helmet should darken the screen significantly

What will the inventory system be like? Would you be able to combine separate pieces of armor together including the coif, visor, boots, leggings, etc. For example, will armor be as detailed as this image?

Could add a house / faction feature for team death matches and other modes such as faction battles. Battles that are basically more strategic in which two random houses of separate nations with their own hired soldiers / mercenaries fight. The winning faction will gain status / reputation. This can work like a level system, the higher the faction level, the higher the prestige.

The stamina is an idea that will implement
We had not thought of her in regards visors
The others are already in our initial plans

The armor system, will be fully customizable as you say
The faction system still have to decide what to do with later
But we consider your idea.

Ziplines not yet ... maybe a hook and a rope...I dont know.

Is there a chance that there will be a armor paint system put into the game? I realize this opens a door to trolls who want pink armor, but to a extent, this would be historically accurate.
This image is a example of 13th century armor coated in red.

@Lord_Stein You can change the color (We need to choose if this is automatic or you need to go to the tailor to make it)
We are waiting for a graphic designer to make heraldic desings to implemente in the shields and tabards

Here's a suggestion
Character combat style
Basically, a person can have different fighting styles for the same weapon. It would add much more immersion to gameplay and realism as well. Lets say we have a mace with two fighting styles a person can uptake. Both fighting styles would have specific animations for that particular style then the other one. This would affect the speed, and damage output of the mace. Fighting styles could also redefine how you use a weapon, for example, instead of a thrust (being fast, farthest reach) with a mace, you could do a underhand swing (stun and cause more damage).

Fighting style could also affect how you hold a weapon like a pollarm. You could hold the shaft of a pollarm in a certain way to deal with close quarter encounters significantly better.

@Lord_Stein This is contempled but in future updates
The team can`t center only in fight system,first we go to handle a simple combat system after we go to introduce all different fight styles like you say in your post.

I thought of quite a idea. The addition of plagues and epidemics. Characters can get sick if they eat poorly, don't wear suitable clothing (from cold nights), get a infected wound or have bad hygiene. This could add a whole new branch of roles such as the plague doctor, medieval physicians, etc. Epidemics could also be a whole new approach to war, chemical warfare.
