Version 1.3 of Gossamer's Bad Company 2 Launcher has been released on ModDB.

Posted by on

Sorry for the large gap in updates, but I had stopped at version 1.2a for a while due to a lot of things going on in my life. About a month ago I contacted File Planet after noticing that my launcher was featured in one of their weekly updates. I then contacted the writer of the article and told him that I would perform an update to fix all the loose ends in the launcher. Well that update came and it was a File Planet exclusive for a while. Now it's time for the release on ModDB.

I hope you guys/girls all enjoy this release as it most likely will be the last. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everybody who has downloaded any version of my launcher. I've recieved over 30,000 downloads in total (over various sites) and actually got a donation of $7.00USD from somebody. I really appreciate everything! Thanks a bundle guys!

Here's a screenshot of version 1.3's layout:

yes, I play at 50fps or so. It all depends on your hardware and settings.

Thanks man. I started this a while back for something to improve my programming skills and I never really expected people to use it :)

Just remember that it is officially vertical FOV, not horizontal FOV like most games use.

Maybe you could add some type of descriptions to these settings for the next version?

Some points are not so clear what they are supposed to do, like "render ahead limit".

Anyway, nice tool, gonna try it :)
