Vendetta Source is now becoming a unique pirate mod for Half Life 2. I understand some of you may be upset, anxious or confused to as why we suddenly changed? Well this change of plans was a logical decision. The modification was only posted a short while ago, that is why we were quick to change, in order to rollback while we still could.
The original idea wasn?t very realistic. The design was quite sloppy and incomplete, once released to the public the response was quite bad. Before I even planned the name of this project I said it to myself, this modification must appeal to gamers not just role-players. Well it seems that concept failed and the mod needed very talented developers to create it, this was very distant as not many talented developers are interested in roleplay modifications, and we couldn?t take the risk of trying our luck.
I decided to go back to square one and rethink the situation; the best solution was to create a non-roleplay mod. We are doing just that, we introduce Vendetta Source, multiplayer pirate modification? Arrr!
