V0.4 is out, so where does the path take us........

V0.4 is here, and with it come some major changes to the mod. We have new units, new upgrades and a whole new skirmish tech system. All the units have new and improved weapon, armor and shield balancing systems making for a more even fight.
Star bases have also recieved updates and balancing.
With the new tech system comes new issues, the Defaint has a minor bug in its code that causes the mod to crash. If you want to fix it open the ST_spaceunits.xml and find the defiants code and remove the whole line with Tactical_Build_Prerequisites should say something about a cloak, i forgot to add it into the tech system and if u remove it till fix that bug (or u can wait till version V0.45 comes out, fully fixed)
The AIs also been adjusted to make them more agressive. Another bug has been found in the Trek AI. If its in skirmish and the trek faction does nothing, open Expansion_factions.xml and look for federation and then look for AI it should say basicfederation, change it to basicempire and it will work in skirmish. In GC i still havn't been able to get them to be active. If anyone out there knows how to make them work in GC please tell me how lol. Again if you want you can wiat for V0.45

V0.45... whats coming up....

Well ive already added Starship Troopers as a new faction. Ive also added its starbases, and set the ground work for more development later. As a result im looking for people who know alot about SST, i mean a treker of the SST franchise (if u know what i mean lol) wouls be good, pm me if ur interested.
Also being added in the next version are some more mini-mods like the FX mod, and an update on the battlestar ships when the next release is made.
Ill also be able to work on the GCs adding a new one or even some events. Depends on what i get around to...
Ill also be developing the skirmish more, with an upgraded supergate/asteroid base.

holy **** this is going to be one big *** mod. Are you going to add the kotor as a race and add halo races?

knight of th old republic, not sure, im thinking of adding a faction called "pre-EAW" and itll be KOTOR and republic... as well as halo, B5, warhammer, as sperate factions, if they let me, from there who knows

i would highly recommend adding halo to this.
it would probably increase interest in the mod by 45%.

adding kotor to this would be freaking insane there are some sith lords in that time that gave ships sheilds with the force idk how that can be good to have as an enemy lol

do u think u could add stuff from star trek enterprise the show units or maybe if someone has made units from the new star trek movie

I've contacted my team researcher and I'll have him give you some help. While he can't do any coding, etc. He does know about SST and he will probably have more free time to assist than I will.
