Hello again, I'm going to try and be more consistent with updates in the coming months. Currently, I am revamping the maps as they aren't up to the quality I would like them to be. I have decided to remove most of the photos I have uploaded here so far as I don't think they show the mod in the best light. Regardless of this, development has been going really well. I have been spending upwards of 15+ hours on some days just working on the maps.
We're also working to implement animated cutscenes at a later date, though my programmer has informed me that this will be an extremely difficult process to implement. Someone asked me about this when I showed my "Moon Men" animation last month, and yes we do plan on putting them in the game but later on in development.
For now I'm working on making the world feel more lived in and immersive, there are radios which can be used to give exposition to the story as well as secrets etc. Adding environmental storytelling to scenes and keeping things nice and spicy.
Finally I would like to announce that YES this mod will have an OST that I will be creating over the next twelve months, I know audio and music play a big part in helping a game's atmosphere. So once I'm done with the revamping of the maps, which I believe will take around six months to finish. I will be adding a soundtrack to go along with them. We are fixing certain issues with FMOD so I can have free reign, rather than overwriting Half Life's CD tracklist which limits how many songs I can use.
