Do you think Skyrim is always the same? or not? depends of yourselves. But I bring you the chance of something new, something never seen in Skyrim. The XVIII Century, an age of ilness, poverty, wars, but also enlightment. 1759 Age of Reason is an ambitious proyect set in the Seven Years War. It will be a XVIII century overhaul.

Dear sirs. As all of you have seen, I have posted some images showing models done. The new is, I have done nearly all the military models (canons, uniforms), the civilian models (clothes), and some weapons too. In the next few days, I have planned to show more work done, this time will be textured with the highest quality materials, and after that start with the clutter (Ships, carriages,food...) and arquitecture.

Some improvements that I have decided to add:

-New lighting

-Gambling

-Fencing clubs ( way to gain xp)

-New beginning

-Civil war Overhaul ( adapted to XVIII century)

How are will you manage to get ships working ?
Will it be even possible to make naval battles ?
And I guess it will be time to see some in-game textured stuff !

I'm very excited about this ;p
Good luck !

Hi, sorry for the delay, I´m new here jaja
The ships will work depending on the role you were, for example,
You will be able to enlist in one army or another depending on your preferences. Once you enlisted, you will have to choose a "class", I´ll explain this: You choose between 3 possibilies in each army, Infantry, Cavalry and the Navy, and deep on this with another "sub roles":
INFANTRY- Fusilier, Grenadier or Militia
CAVALRY - Light: Hussar or Dragoon/ Heavy- Cuirassier
NAVY - Sailor (melee infantry), Artillerist or Helmsman

There is a mod for oblivion that makes ships ridable so te ships will work as a black flag type ship.
There will also be naval battles in which you will be part depending on the role chosen.
I forgot to say before that will be promotions in each branch of the army with the respectives uniforms and weapons.
PD: Feel free to ask any doubt you have.

Your humble servant

This is actually very ambitious... I can imagine epic face to face battles with infantry charging under cannons' shots... And by the way, what about ground artillerymen ? They were very important, and needed great skills to manipulate artillery pieces correctly and calculate the shots...
It would be cool to have some kind of artillery "simulator" where you must calculate the correct angles and load the guns step by step ;p
(also with exploding gunpowder and ammunition so you can take down enemy artillery with a few good shots)

Of course sire,I have something in mind, something like seen in M&B napoleonic wars dlc.
I have already done the cannons (land and naval, both types). The only thing I need is any way to do the "mini game" for make artilley playable.
Thanks for share your input.

By the way it could be interesting to make it very realistic, and maybe let the choice to the player between "simulator" and "fun game" (yeah i'm a fan of war simulators, and there isn't any about napoleonic era).

You can find such system in ArmA series by example, where you can tweak your game to be more realistic or more arcade (with HUD helps, etc)

I would personally like to have a very challenging-to-control artillery, with range and angle calculations, zeroing (or sort of ^^), etc...
(Of course it's only my opinion ;p
