Post news RSS Update - New Map in Progress and Soviet Army

This is a new update for Fronts of Battle. Please read this as it is very important.

Posted by on

Hello ModDB, I think it's time that FoB has had its first update/news!

First of all, one of the team's mappers (Aaagreen) has started work on a city/urban map set in Carentan, France, aptly named fob_carentan. Pictures will be uploaded once he gets a bit of the map done.

Second of all, we have decided to add the Soviet Army in, as mentioned by Hendrix. I will update the summary with all necessary details.

And last, if not least, is that the Fronts of Battle Development Team is still looking for people who are in skilled in these fields and are willing to work for free.

  • Modeling
  • Animation
  • v_weapon modeler and animator
  • Player model modeler and animator
  • Sound Developer
  • Mapper
  • Scripter

Oh, and I forgot to mention: we have someone helping us with some voice acting, DJScias. Welcome to the team, DJ!

Please take the time to read this thoroughly and please apply for a position on our team if you'd like to help out.

Thanks for reading,
-The Fronts of Battle Development Team

Yeah, that's the map you're working on. ;)

Of course, you can call it fob_bridge, I really don't care.

I wasn't basing my bridge map at all on Carentan, it's just a random bridge.

Ah, I see.

Maybe you could use it as a prefab?
