A brief talk about our progress on Perfection with a side helping of recruitment!

We are currently in our fourth week of production as of today, and thinks could not be looking better! The level is coming along fantastically as the level designers have been hard at work over it. You can get a general taste of the level in the screenshots, though please note that they were taken quite a while ago. Custom props, textures and other goodies have yet to be planted in them!

We also received our results for the first half of the unit! Good scores all around, so we are very happy about that. Consider it a load off our minds and some inspiration towards cranking out some good work!

Now the main point of this post, as you may have guessed if you read the title of this, is all about recruitment. We have been given the option to recruit members from outside of our university to help with the project. If you have any interest whatsoever, or are simply enquiring as to whether you can contribute, please do not hesitate to get in contact with us! We are actively searching for but are not limited to:

  • Modellers that can work to poly limits
  • Programmers
  • Animators
  • Audio people, specifically creation of sound effects
  • Concept Artists
  • Anyone with enthusiasm that we can find a position for!

You will of course be joining N104 and have an input in some decisions, though please be aware that the plans submitted last semester have to be stuck to as much as possible. That said, you will be allowed to join our discussion forum (oooooooooooh!) and get your lovely names into the credits. You have nothing to lose except your sanity!
