CreativeForge Games announced in a GOG and Steam news update mod support for Phantom Doctrine, a strategic turn-based espionage thriller set at the peak of the Cold War.

Hitch of CreativeForge Games mentioned right after the game release that after the two following crucial post-release issues
- Russian and Chinese as well as Spanish and French game text localisation issue and
- enemies shooting through obstacles due to the sidestep system affecting the Line of Sight (LOS) system
have been resolved along with other less frequently appearing problems flagged by the community, CreativeForge will start working on mod support, which will be the first big addition to Phantom Doctrine.
Phantom Doctrine has already received a number of patches since the game launch two weeks ago, so more info about modding support, its extent as well as its capability, may come our way pretty soon.

Phantom Doctrine was released August 14, 2018 for Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 on Steam and GOG, as well as X1 and PS4 consoles and their official storefronts.
