The Group news

Hello all, I'm MattmanDude. Those of you who know me, know that I am Moddb's resident cowboy. I'm the guy that made the group. Simple as that.

Okay, now that you know me (yeah right) let's give ya some basic info about the group. This, as stated above in the little info box doohickey, is a group for all the rednecks, cowboys, country music lovers, and cowboy video game lovers of Moddb. For a start to the group we're adding country music stuff. Don't be turned off of the group if you don't like country music. That's just what we're starting with.

Again, as stated in the info box, we're welcoming all the cowboys and country folk, or anybody that just likes that kind of stuff. Do you like watching John Wayne, or Clint Eastwood? Join us. Do you like country music? Join us. Do you like Call of Juarez, Red Dead Redemption, or any mod or indie game that is western? Join us. Do you like blue-collar comedians like Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, Ron White, Larry the Cable Guy, Henry Cho, etc? Join us. Do you like dressing up in cowboy boots and a cowboy hat and shooting at cans with old 19th century style firearms? Join us!!!!

Anything country, cowboy, or redneck goes when uploading videos or images. The only real restriction is try to keep the language within reason. Don't worry we're not gonna be cussin' Nazis, but we'd rather not see the F-bomb dropped in every piece of media uploaded ya know what I mean?

Member titles are pretty useless.

If you're title says Marshal then you are either me or a hacker. That's the title I took for group leader.

If you're title says Head Deputy then you're either Vader91 or a hacker. That's the title I gave Vader91 as my co-leader.

If you're title says Deputy then I may have made you a moderator of some sort. I won't do this without asking or being asked.

If you're title says citizen then you're pretty new to the group and haven't done anything useful as of yet. This will change if I see you uploading a certain amount of content.

If you're title says bounty hunter then I was probably bored with making folks citizens and the person in question was a generally cool guy around Moddb. Yeah so I made AUGdude a bounty hunter. Upload some content and I'll do the same for you sometime lol.

I will eventually come up with other titles and possibly make it more structured. However, all the titles do is represent the level of activity that person has with the group. Commenting, posting news, posting media, etc. will all help ya earn a cooler title.
