A look at the first part of the arsenal: hook, pistol, cutlass, blunderbuss and musket!

The arsenal is similar to the first Golden Parrot game, with some novelty and balancing.

1. Hook
This false hook can break a cranium when it's manipulated correctly.
But even more you can catch the purse of an unvigilent enemy and steal his gold.

While there is no skill to improve its combat efficiency, the weapon expertise grants both a solid bonus in damage and in robbery. Furthermore, the expertise also progresses with a successful robbery.

Secondary attack: attempt to rob a human enemy
Base damage: 0-15 physical
Weapon expertise level 1: +8 damage, +6% chance of stealing
Weapon expertise level 2: +8 damage, +6% chance of stealing

2. Pistol
The flintlock pistol is a versatile weapon, efficient at short range and fair at long range, yet fairly easy to acquire.
Having a second one and use twice of them is more challenging and you get a damage penalty, but is still worth the effort.

Secondary attack: double pistol wielding
Base damage: 35-55 physical
Close combat accuracy: good
Mid range accuracy: good
Long range accuracy: medium
Weapon expertise level 1: +4 damage
Weapon expertise level 2: +4 damage

3. Cutlass

The classic pirate sword comes with a native secondary mode allowing you to parry an enemy strike, but you can also enchant your blade and release magical projectiles. It is a really well balanced weapon, commonly spread among the population.

Secondary attack: parade
Secondary attack: firing magic bolts
Base damage: 7-21 physical / 5 magical
Weapon expertise level 1: +4 damage
Weapon expertise level 2: +4 damage

4. Blunderbuss

A powerful short ranged weapon, ideal for those not liking subtlety or not good at aiming. Also the easiest firearm
to reload.
You can even install a module to throw grenades!

Secondary attack: grenade launcher
Base damage: 30-60 physical / 90 explosive
Close combat accuracy: good
Mid range accuracy: bad
Long range accuracy: bad
Weapon expertise level 1: +4 damage / +15 damage (grenade)
Weapon expertise level 2: +4 damage / +15 damage (grenade)


5. Musket
The best pirate rifle in town. Ideal for a long shot.
The material is expensive though.

Secondary attack: burst fire
Base damage: 38-70 physical
Close combat accuracy: medium
Mid range accuracy: good
Long range accuracy: good
Weapon expertise level 1: +4 damage
Weapon expertise level 2: +4 damage
