Its been about a year since I've posted and update. Sadly I can't say that I've gotten much work done on the mod. I was working at Crystal Dynamics for about half that time and I now have a sweet job at Infinity Ward working on Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. Unfortunately after a full day of doing level design at work, it is hard to find time or motivation to work on my own projects. So until further notice development of The Nightmare Chronicles will be on hiatus. I do have plans to eventually finish the game. It has been a labor of love and I would feel terrible just abandoning the project. Someday Tedrich will be able to fight through his nightmares with you, I just don't know when that will be.
Congratulations on the new job, my friend, you deserve it.
But wow, it kinda makes me a bit empty =/ it feels like a personal defeat, that the reason a fun and innovative HL2 mod, like NMC, won't be coming out anytime soon (if ever) is because of something as grey, boring, loathsome and massproduced as MW3.
A sad day for modding, at least in my eyes.

I have never played any of the games, but I know that they are pretty popular. I guess many people will feel happier for you now.
Hmmm... I'm not sure if this is possible for you... Can you turn the mod into a game with Infinity Ward?
I wish, but I bet it would be impossible to convince a bunch of guys used to making realistic shooter games to jump ship and make a cartoony platformer

Well I hope this will be finished. I just love cartoony platform games :) I need something after Psychonauts. (That reminds me that Psychonauts 2 isn't heard of either when the first episode ended on a cliffhanger)
I know right? why aren't they working on that? Seems like they've just been making xbla games recently.
Well kinda sad another mod is put on hold, but good luck with your new job, and please, make those guys don't make the new COD game suck, tell them that COD 2 was the best of the series and do yourself a favor, take COD 2 as base for level designing, don't disappoint us son!

I dont think that we shall believe him. As I readed the news, some modders and etc are lieing that they joined some companies and etc. Plus looking that that guy was wroking on a mod a veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery long time ago and even not released a demo, I highly doubt that they would take in team a person like that.
