The Battle for Middle-earth: Tactics – is a first mod for The Battle for Middle-earth II: The Rise of the Witch-king which main goals not only to add units, heroes and buildings, but also cardinally to change a gameplay and to improve graphics.

New strategies of development
In the beginning the player is offered to choose between two strategies: "Offense" or "Defense". Each of strategy is in own way unique and introduces in game process a variety and new tactical elements.
"Offense" - strategy of development of the player, having chosen which he receives in the order small camp (almost unprotected from fast attacks of the opponent) with the bases for construction of certain buildings. Besides, bonuses and "Offense" are available to the player.
"Defense" - strategy of development of the player, having chosen which on the card there is a lock. As, bonuses and "Protection" upgrades become available.
New system of outposts
We completely processed system of outposts from BFME and ideally entered them in our new gameplay. Now there are three types of outposts.
As you can see, different types of outposts open new opportunities of further development of game before players.
New system of command points
For receiving bigger quantity of command points it is necessary not only to build more farms, but also to seize territories.
Improved graphics, new visual effects
The BFME series already it is a lot of years, and SAGE is incapable to compete with modern platforms. For this reason we decided to improve graphics in game and to approach it to modern standards.
New units and heroes:
We will add some new units and heroes. All characters will have the unique qualitative models, new visual effects of special.
We plan to transfer and complete campaign from the first two parts.
